BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Canción de las subidas. Desde lo más profundos grito a ti, Yahveh:	1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:
2 ¡Señor, escucha mi clamor! ¡Estén atentos tus oídos a la voz de mis súplicas!	2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!
3 Si en cuenta tomas las culpas, oh Yahveh, ¿quién, Señor, resistirá?	3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?
4 Mas el perdón se halla junto a ti, para que seas temido.	4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.
5 Yo espero en Yahveh, mi alma espera en su palabra;	5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.
6 mi alma aguarda al Señor más que los centinelas la aurora; mas que los centinelas la aurora,	6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak
7 aguarde Israel a Yahveh. Porque con Yahveh está el amor, junto a él abundancia de rescate;	7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;
8 él rescatará a Israel de todas sus culpas.	8 and he wil ransom Israel from al its sins.
