Michea 2

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Guai a voi che pensate a cose vane, e preparate il male nei vostri letti: lo mettono in esecuzione appena luccica il mattino, alzando contro Dio la loro mano.	1 Disaster for those who plot evil, who lie in bed planning mischief! No sooner is it dawn than they do it,since they have the power to do so.
2 Essi desiderarono i campi e se li usurparono colla violenza, invasero le case, fecero violenza all'uomo e alla sua casa, al padrone e al suo possesso.	2 Seizing the fields that they covet, they take over houses as wel , owner and house they seize alike, theman himself as wel as his inheritance.
3 Per questo, così parla il Signore: « Ecco io penso di mandare sopra questa famiglia delle sventure, dalle quali non potrete sottrarre il vostro collo, e non camminerete più altezzosi, perchè il tèmpo è pessimo.	3 So Yahweh says this: Look, I am now plotting a disaster for this breed from which you wil not extricateyour necks; you wil not hold your heads up then, for the times wil be disastrous indeed.
4 In quel giorno sarà detto a vostro riguardo un proverbio, e sarà cantata una lugubre canzone, e sarà detto: « Siamo stati saccheggiati fino alla desolazione, parte del mio popolo è mutata; come andrà lungi da me, se torna, chi dividerà i nostri terreni? »	4 That day they wil make a satire on you, they wil strike up a dirge and say, 'We have been stripped ofeverything; my people's land has been divided up, no one else can restore it to them, our fields have beenawarded to our despoiler.'
5 Per questo, tu non avrai nessuno che misuri colla corda le porzioni nell'adunanza del Signore.	5 Because of this, you will have no one to measure out a share in Yahweh's community.
6 Non state a dir tante parole: esse non cadranno sopra costoro, e non li prenderà la vergogna.	6 'Do not drivel,' they drivel, 'do not drivel like this! Disgrace will not overtake us!
7 La casa di Giacobbe va dicendo: « Ha forse fretta lo spirito del Signore, o sono di tal fatta i suoi pensieri? » Le mie parole non sono piene di benignità per colui che cammina con rettitudine?	7 'Can the House of Jacob be accursed? Has Yahweh grown short-tempered? Is that his way of going towork? His prophecies can only be favourable for his people Israel!'
8 Ma al contrario il mio popolo si è alzato qual nemico; voi di sopra la tunica toglieste il mantello e quelli che passavano con tutta semplicità li avete messi nella guerra.	8 But you are the ones who play the enemy to my people. From the inoffensive man you snatch his cloak,on those who feel safe you inflict the damage of war.
9 Voi avete cacciate le donne del mio popolo dalla casa delle loro delizie, e ai loro pargoletti toglieste la mia lode per sempre.	9 My people's women you evict from the homes they love, and deprive the children of my glory for ever,
10 Alzatevi, partite, perchè non è qui la vostra pace: per la sua immondezza questa terra sarà corrotta da orrenda putredine.	10 saying, 'Up and off with you! You can't stay here!' For a worthless thing you exact an extortionatepledge.
11 Oh! se non fossi un uomo che ha lo spirito e potessi dire piuttosto delle menzogne! Io ti verserò il vino e fino all'ubriadiezza. E colui sopra il quale sarà versato sarà questo popolo.	11 If a man of the spirit came and invented this lie, 'I prophesy wine and liquor for you,' he would be theprophet for a people like this.
12 Io ti radunerò tutto insieme, o Giacobbe, io rimetterò insieme i resti d'Israele, lo porrò tutto insieme come un gregge nell'ovile, quale mandra in mezzo a chiuso recinto, e faran tumulto per la moltitudine degli uomini.	12 I shall assemble the whole of Jacob, I shal gather the remnant of Israel, I shal gather them togetherlike sheep in an enclosure. And like a flock within their fold, they will bleat far away from anyone,
13 Colui che apre la strada andrà loro avanti; faran largo, passeranno la porta, e per essa entreranno, e il loro re passerà davanti ad essi, e il Signore alla loro testa ».	13 their leader wil break out first, then al break out through the gate and escape, with their king leadingthe way and with Yahweh at their head.
