Michea 2

BIBBIA TINTORI	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Guai a voi che pensate a cose vane, e preparate il male nei vostri letti: lo mettono in esecuzione appena luccica il mattino, alzando contro Dio la loro mano.	1 Woe to you that devise that which is unprofitable, and work evil in your beds: in the morning light they execute it, because their hand is against God.
2 Essi desiderarono i campi e se li usurparono colla violenza, invasero le case, fecero violenza all'uomo e alla sua casa, al padrone e al suo possesso.	2 And they have coveted fields, and taken them by violence, and houses they have forcibly taken away: and oppressed a man and his house, a man and his inheritance.
3 Per questo, così parla il Signore: « Ecco io penso di mandare sopra questa famiglia delle sventure, dalle quali non potrete sottrarre il vostro collo, e non camminerete più altezzosi, perchè il tèmpo è pessimo.	3 Therefore thus saith the Lord : Behold, I devise an evil against this family: from which you shall not withdraw your necks, and you shall not walk haughtily, for this is a very evil time.
4 In quel giorno sarà detto a vostro riguardo un proverbio, e sarà cantata una lugubre canzone, e sarà detto: « Siamo stati saccheggiati fino alla desolazione, parte del mio popolo è mutata; come andrà lungi da me, se torna, chi dividerà i nostri terreni? »	4 In that day a parable shall be taken up upon you, and a song shall be sung with melody by them that say: We are laid waste and spoiled: the portion of my people is changed: how shall he depart from me, whereas he is returning that will divide our land?
5 Per questo, tu non avrai nessuno che misuri colla corda le porzioni nell'adunanza del Signore.	5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast the cord of a lot in the assembly of the Lord.
6 Non state a dir tante parole: esse non cadranno sopra costoro, e non li prenderà la vergogna.	6 Speak ye not, saying: It shall not drop upon these, confusion shall not take them.
7 La casa di Giacobbe va dicendo: « Ha forse fretta lo spirito del Signore, o sono di tal fatta i suoi pensieri? » Le mie parole non sono piene di benignità per colui che cammina con rettitudine?	7 The house of Jacob saith: Is the spirit of the Lord straitened, or are these his thoughts? Are not my words good to him that walketh uprightly?
8 Ma al contrario il mio popolo si è alzato qual nemico; voi di sopra la tunica toglieste il mantello e quelli che passavano con tutta semplicità li avete messi nella guerra.	8 But my people, on the contrary, are risen up as an enemy: you have taken away the cloak off from the coat: and them that passed harmless you have turned to war.
9 Voi avete cacciate le donne del mio popolo dalla casa delle loro delizie, e ai loro pargoletti toglieste la mia lode per sempre.	9 You have cast out the women of my people from their houses, in which they took delight: you have taken my praise for ever from their children.
10 Alzatevi, partite, perchè non è qui la vostra pace: per la sua immondezza questa terra sarà corrotta da orrenda putredine.	10 Arise ye, and depart, for there is no rest here for you. For that uncleanness of the land, it shall be corrupted with a grievous corruption.
11 Oh! se non fossi un uomo che ha lo spirito e potessi dire piuttosto delle menzogne! Io ti verserò il vino e fino all'ubriadiezza. E colui sopra il quale sarà versato sarà questo popolo.	11 Would God I were not a man that hath the spirit, and that I rather spoke a lie: I will let drop to thee of wine, and of drunkenness: and it shall be this people upon whom it shall drop.
12 Io ti radunerò tutto insieme, o Giacobbe, io rimetterò insieme i resti d'Israele, lo porrò tutto insieme come un gregge nell'ovile, quale mandra in mezzo a chiuso recinto, e faran tumulto per la moltitudine degli uomini.	12 I will assemble and gather together all of thee, O Jacob: I will bring together the remnant of Israel, I will put them together as a flock in the fold, as the sheep in the midst of the sheepcotes, they shall make a tumult by reason of the multitude of men.
13 Colui che apre la strada andrà loro avanti; faran largo, passeranno la porta, e per essa entreranno, e il loro re passerà davanti ad essi, e il Signore alla loro testa ».	13 For he shall go up that shall open the way before them: they shall divide, and pass through the gate, and shall come in by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord at the head of them.
