1 Farai l’altare di legno di acacia: avrà cinque cubiti di lunghezza e cinque cubiti di larghezza. L’altare sarà quadrato e avrà l’altezza di tre cubiti.	1 'You will make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar wil be squareand three cubits high.
2 Farai ai suoi quattro angoli quattro corni e costituiranno un sol pezzo con esso. Lo rivestirai di bronzo.	2 At its four corners you wil make horns, the horns must be of a piece with it, and you wil overlay it withbronze.
3 Farai i suoi recipienti per raccogliere le ceneri, le sue palette, i suoi vasi per l’aspersione, le sue forcelle e i suoi bracieri. Farai di bronzo tutti questi accessori.	3 And for it you will make pans for taking away the fatty ashes, and shovels, sprinkling basins, hooksand fire pans; you wil make al the altar accessories of bronze.
4 Farai per esso una graticola di bronzo, lavorato in forma di rete, e farai sulla rete quattro anelli di bronzo alle sue quattro estremità.	4 You will also make a grating for it of bronze network, and on the four corners of the grating you wilmake four bronze rings.
5 La porrai sotto la cornice dell’altare, in basso: la rete arriverà a metà dell’altezza dell’altare.	5 You will put it below the ledge of the altar, underneath, so that it comes halfway up the altar.
6 Farai anche stanghe per l’altare: saranno stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestirai di bronzo.	6 You will make shafts for the altar, shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with bronze.
7 Si introdurranno queste stanghe negli anelli e le stanghe saranno sui due lati dell’altare quando lo si trasporta.	7 The shafts wil be passed through the rings in such a way that the shafts are on either side of the altar,for carrying it.
8 Lo farai di tavole, vuoto nell’interno: lo faranno come ti fu mostrato sul monte.	8 You will make the altar hol ow, out of boards; you wil make it as you were shown on the mountain.
9 Farai poi il recinto della Dimora. Sul lato meridionale, verso sud, il recinto avrà tendaggi di bisso ritorto, per la lunghezza di cento cubiti sullo stesso lato.	9 'Then you will make the court of the Dwelling. On the south side, the curtaining of the court must be offinely woven linen, one hundred cubits long (for the first side),
10 Vi saranno venti colonne con venti basi di bronzo. Gli uncini delle colonne e le loro aste trasversali saranno d’argento.	10 its twenty poles and their twenty sockets being of bronze, and the poles' hooks and rods of silver.
11 Allo stesso modo sul lato rivolto a settentrione: tendaggi per cento cubiti di lunghezza, le relative venti colonne con le venti basi di bronzo, gli uncini delle colonne e le aste trasversali d’argento.	11 So too for the north side, there must be a hundred cubits of curtaining, its twenty poles and theirtwenty sockets being of bronze, and the poles' hooks and rods of silver.
12 La larghezza del recinto verso occidente avrà cinquanta cubiti di tendaggi, con le relative dieci colonne e le dieci basi.	12 Across the width of the court, on the west side, there must be fifty cubits of curtaining, with its tenpoles and their ten sockets.
13 La larghezza del recinto sul lato orientale verso levante sarà di cinquanta cubiti:	13 The width of the court on the east side, facing the sunrise, must be fifty cubits,
14 quindici cubiti di tendaggi con le relative tre colonne e le tre basi alla prima ala;	14 with fifteen cubits of curtaining on one side of the entrance, with its three poles and their threesockets,
15 all’altra ala quindici cubiti di tendaggi, con le tre colonne e le tre basi.	15 and on the other side of the entrance, fifteen cubits of curtaining, with its three poles and their threesockets;
16 Alla porta del recinto vi sarà una cortina di venti cubiti, lavoro di ricamatore, di porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto, con le relative quattro colonne e le quattro basi.	16 and for the gateway to the court there must be a twenty-cubit screen of finely woven linenembroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, with its four poles and their four sockets.
17 Tutte le colonne intorno al recinto saranno fornite di aste trasversali d’argento: i loro uncini saranno d’argento e le loro basi di bronzo.	17 Al the poles round the court must be connected by silver rods; their hooks must be of silver and theirsockets of bronze.
18 La lunghezza del recinto sarà di cento cubiti, la larghezza di cinquanta, l’altezza di cinque cubiti: di bisso ritorto, con le basi di bronzo.	18 The length of the court must be one hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits and its height five cubits. Althe curtaining must be made of finely woven linen, and their sockets of bronze.
19 Tutti gli arredi della Dimora, per tutti i suoi servizi, e tutti i picchetti, come anche i picchetti del recinto, saranno di bronzo.	19 Al the accessories for general use in the Dwel ing, al its pegs and al the pegs of the court, must beof bronze.
20 Tu ordinerai agli Israeliti che ti procurino olio puro di olive schiacciate per l’illuminazione, per tener sempre accesa una lampada.	20 'You wil order the Israelites to bring you pure pounded olive oil for the light, and to keep a lampburning al the time.
21 Nella tenda del convegno, al di fuori del velo che sta davanti alla Testimonianza, Aronne e i suoi figli la prepareranno, perché dalla sera alla mattina essa sia davanti al Signore: rito perenne presso gli Israeliti di generazione in generazione.	21 Aaron and his sons wil tend it in the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain hanging in front of theTestimony, from dusk to dawn, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for al generations of Israelites.'
