| 19 Dal giorno in cui il Signore fece uscire dall’Egitto i nostri padri fino a oggi siamo stati ribelli verso il Signore nostro Dio e ci siamo comportati con leggerezza per non ascoltare la sua voce. | 19 From the day when the Lord brought our ancestors out of Egypt until today we have been disobedientto the Lord our God, we have been disloyal, refusing to listen to his voice. |
| 20 Per questo ci sopravvennero i mali e la maledizione che il Signore aveva minacciato a Mosè suo servitore nel giorno in cui fece uscire dall'Egitto i nostri padri per dare loro una terra in cui scorrono latte e miele, così come appare oggi. | 20 And we are not free even today of the disasters and the curse which the Lord pronounced through hisservant Moses the day he brought our ancestors out of Egypt to give us a land flowing with milk and honey. |
