2 En Judá Dios es conocido, grande es su nombre en Israel;	2 Renowned in Judah is God, whose name is great in Israel.
3 su tienda está en Salem, su morada en Sión;	3 On Salem is God's tent, a shelter on Zion.
4 allí quebró las ráfagas del arco, el escudo, la espada y la guerra. Pausa.	4 There the flashing arrows were shattered, shield, sword, and weapons of war. Selah
5 Fulgurante eres tú, maravilloso por los montones de botín	5 Terrible and awesome are you, stronger than the ancient mountains.
6 de que han sido despojados; los bravos durmiendo están su sueño, a todos los hombres fuertes les fallaron los brazos;	6 Despoiled are the bold warriors; they sleep their final sleep; the hands of all the mighty have failed.
7 a tu amenaza, oh Dios de Jacob, carro y caballo se quedaron pasmados.	7 At your roar, O God of Jacob, chariots and steeds lay still.
8 Tú, tú el terrible, ¿quién puede resistir ante tu faz, bajo el golpe de tu ira?	8 So terrible and awesome are you; who can stand before you and your great anger?
9 Desde los cielos pronuncias la sentencia, la tierra se amedrenta y enmudece	9 From the heavens you pronounced sentence; the earth was terrified and reduced to silence,
10 cuando Dios se levanta para el juicio, para salvar a todos los humildes de la tierra. Pausa.	10 When you arose, O God, for judgment to deliver the afflicted of the land. Selah
11 La cólera del hombre te celebra, te ceñirás con los escapados a la Cólera.	11 Even wrathful Edom praises you; the remnant of Hamath keeps your feast.
12 Haced votos y cumplidlos a Yahveh, vuestro Dios, los que le rodean traigan presentes al Terrible;	12 Make and keep vows to the LORD your God. May all present bring gifts to this awesome God,
13 el que corta el aliento a los príncipes, el temible para los reyes de la tierra.	13 Who checks the pride of princes, inspires awe among the kings of earth.
