1 Salmo. De David. Cuando huía de su hijo Absalón.	1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Yahveh, ¡cuán numerosos son mis adversarios, cuántos los que se alzan contra mí!	2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 ¡Cuántos los que dicen de mi vida: «No hay salvación para él en Dios!» Pausa.	3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 Mas tú, Yahveh, escudo que me ciñes, mi gloria, el que realza mi cabeza.	4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 A voz en grito clamo hacia Yahveh, y él me responde desde su santo monte. Pausa.	5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 Yo me acuesto y me duermo, me despierto, pues Yahveh me sostiene.	6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 No temo a esas gentes que a millares se apostan en torno contra mí.	7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 ¡Levántate, Yahveh! ¡Dios mío, sálvame! Tú hieres en la mejilla a todos mis enemigos, los dientes de los impíos tú los rompes.	8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
9 De Yahveh la salvación. Tu bendición sobre tu pueblo. Pausa
