Salmos 146

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba a Yahveh, alma mía!	1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!
2 A Yahveh, mientras viva, he de alabar, mientras exista salmodiaré para mi Dios.	2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.
3 No pongáis vuestra confianza en príncipes, en un hijo de hombre, que no puede salvar;	3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.
4 su soplo exhala, a su barro retorna, y en ese día sus proyectos fenecen.	4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.
5 Feliz aquel que en el Dios de Jacob tiene su apoyo, y su esperanza en Yahveh su Dios,	5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,
6 que hizo los cielos y la tierra, el mar y cuanto en ellos hay; que guarda por siempre lealtad,	6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,
7 hace justicia a los oprimidos, da el pan a los hambrientos, Yahveh suelta a los encadenados.	7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.
8 Yahveh abre los ojos a los ciegos, Yahveh a los encorvados endereza, Ama Yahveh a los justos,	8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.
9 Yahveh protege al forastero, a la viuda y al huérfano sostiene. mas el camino de los impíos tuerce;	9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.
10 Yahveh reina para siempre, tu Dios, Sión, de edad en edad.	10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.
