1 Fecit et altare holocausti de lignis acaciae quinque cubi torum per quadrum et trium in altitudine,1 He made the altar of burnt offerings of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; it was squareand three cubits high.
2 cuius cornua de angulis procedebant; operuitque illud laminis aeneis.2 At its four corners he made horns, the horns being of a piece with it, and overlaid it with bronze.
3 Et in usus eius paravit ex aere vasa diversa: lebetes, vatilla et pateras, fuscinulas et ignium receptacula.3 He made all the altar accessories: the ash pans, shovels, sprinkling basins, hooks and fire pans; hemade al the altar accessories of bronze.
4 Craticulamque eius in modum retis fecit aeneam subter marginem altaris ab imo usque ad medium eius,4 He also made a grating for the altar of bronze network, below its ledge, underneath, coming halfwayup.
5 fusis quattuor anulis per totidem craticulae summitates, ad immittendos vectes ad portandum.5 He cast four rings for the four corners of the bronze grating to take the shafts.
6 Quos et ipsos fecit de lignis acaciae et operuit laminis aeneis;6 He made the shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze.
7 induxitque in circulos, qui in lateribus altaris eminebant. Ipsum autem altare non erat solidum, sed cavum ex tabulis et intus vacuum.
7 He passed the shafts through the rings on the sides of the altar for carrying it. He made the altarhollow, out of boards.
8 Fecit et labrum aeneum cum basi sua de speculis mulierum, quae excubabant in ostio tabernaculi conventus.
8 He made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting.
9 Fecit et atrium, in cuius australi plaga erant tentoria de bysso retorta cubitorum centum;9 He made the court. On the south side, on the south, the curtaining of the court was of finely wovenlinen a hundred cubits long.
10 columnae aeneae viginti cum basibus suis; unci columnarum et anuli earum argentei.10 Its twenty poles and their sockets being of bronze, and their hooks and rods of silver;
11 Aeque ad septentrionalem plagam tentoria, columnae basesque et unci anulique columnarum eiusdem mensurae et operis ac metalli erant.11 and on the north side, a hundred cubits of curtaining, its twenty poles and their twenty sockets beingof bronze, and their hooks and rods of silver.
12 In ea vero plaga, quae ad occidentem respicit, fuerunt tentoria cubitorum quinquaginta, columnae decem cum basibus suis; et unci columnarum anulique earum argentei.12 On the west side there were fifty cubits of curtaining, with its ten poles and their ten sockets, thepoles' hooks and rods being of silver;
13 Porro contra orientem quinquaginta cubitorum paravit tentoria,13 and on the east side on the east, there were fifty cubits.
14 e quibus quindecim cubitos columnarum trium cum basibus suis unum tenebat latus;14 On the one side there were fifteen cubits of curtaining, with its three poles and their three sockets,

17 Bases columnarum fuere aeneae, unci autem earum et anuli earum argentei et capita earum vestivit argento et omnes columnas atrii cinxit anulis argenteis.17 the sockets for the poles were of bronze, the poles' hooks and rods of silver, their capitals wereoverlaid with silver and al the poles of the court had silver rods.
18 Et in introitu eius opere plumario fecit velum ex hyacintho, purpura, cocco ac bysso retorta; quod habebat viginti cubitos in longitudine, altitudo vero quinque cubitorum erat iuxta mensuram, quam cuncta atrii tentoria habebant.18 The screen for the gateway to the court was of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, twenty cubits long and five cubits high (al the way along) like the curtaining of the court,
19 Columnae autem in ingressu fuere quattuor cum basibus aeneis, uncis argenteis; capitaque et anulos earum vestivit argento.19 its four poles and their four sockets being of bronze, their hooks of silver, their capitals overlaid withsilver, and their rods of silver.
20 Paxillos quoque habitaculi et atrii per gyrum fecit aeneos.
20 Al the pegs round the Dwel ing and the court were of bronze.
21 Hic est census habitaculi, habitaculi testimonii, qui recensitus est iuxta praeceptum Moysi ministerio Levitarum per manum Ithamar filii Aaron sacerdotis.21 These are the accounts for the Dwelling -- the Dwel ing of the Testimony -- drawn up by order ofMoses, the work of Levites, produced by Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest.
22 Beseleel filius Uri filii Hur de tribu Iudae fecit cuncta, quae praeceperat Dominus Moysi,22 Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything that Yahweh ordered Moses tomake,
23 iuncto sibi socio Ooliab filio Achisamech de tribu Dan fabro et polymitario atque plumario ex hyacintho, purpura, cocco et bysso.
23 his assistant being Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, embroiderer andneedleworker in violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and fine linen.
24 Omne aurum, quod expensum est in opere sanctuarii et quod oblatum est in donariis, viginti novem talentorum fuit et septingentorum triginta siclorum ad mensuram sicli sanctuarii.24 The amount of gold used for the work, for the entire work for the sanctuary (the gold consecrated forthe purpose) was twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty shekels, reckoned by the sanctuary shekel.
25 Argentum autem eorum, qui in congregatione recensiti sunt, centum talentorum fuit et mille septingentorum et septuaginta quinque siclorum ad mensuram sicli sanctuarii.25 The silver from the census of the community was one hundred talents and one thousand sevenhundred and seventy-five shekels, reckoned by the sanctuary shekel,

27 De talentis centum argenti conflatae sunt bases sanctuarii et veli, singulis talentis per bases singulas supputatis.27 A hundred talents of silver were used for casting the sockets for the sanctuary and the sockets for thecurtain: a hundred sockets from a hundred talents, one talent per socket.
28 De mille autem septingentis et septuaginta quinque siclis fecit uncos columnarum et vestivit capita earum et cinxit eas argento.28 From the one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels he made the hooks for the poles,overlaid their capitals and made the rods for them.
29 Aeris quoque oblata sunt septuaginta talenta et duo milia et quadringenti sicli,29 The bronze consecrated for the purpose amounted to seventy talents and two thousand four hundredshekels,
30 ex quibus fecit bases in introitu tabernaculi conventus et altare aeneum cum craticula sua omniaque vasa, quae ad usum eius pertinent,30 and from it he made the sockets for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, the bronze altar, its bronzegrating and al the altar accessories,
31 et bases atrii tam in circuitu quam in ingressu eius et omnes paxillos habitaculi atque atrii per gyrum.
