1 - Ecco le classi dei portieri appartenenti alla famiglia dei Coriti: Meselemia figliuolo di Core, dei figli di Asaf.	1 As for the classes of gatekeepers. Of the Korahites was Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, one of the sons of Abiasaph.
2 Figli di Meselemia: Zaccaria il primogenito, Jadiel il secondo, Zabadia il terzo, Jatanael il quarto,	2 Meshelemiah's sons: Zechariah, the first-born, Jediael, the second son, Zebadiah, the third, Jathniel, the fourth,
3 Elam il quinto, Joanan il sesto, Elioenai il settimo.	3 Elam, the fifth, Jehohanan, the sixth, Eliehoenai, the seventh.

10 Di Osa, vale a dire dei figli di Merari: Semri fu il capo, (benchè non fosse primogenito, tuttavia fu dal padre suo posto come capo).	10 Hosah, a descendant of Merari, had these sons: Shimri, the chief (for though he was not the first-born, his father made him chief),
11 Elcia fu il secondo; Tabelia il terzo, Zaccaria il quarto; tutti i figli e i fratelli di Osa furono tredici.	11 Hilkiah, the second son, Tebaliah, the third, Zechariah, the fourth. All the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 Questi furono distribuiti come portieri, affinchè essi, come principi delle guardie, e così pure i fratelli loro, servissero sempre nella casa del Signore.	12 To these classes of gatekeepers, under their chief men, were assigned watches in the service of the house of the LORD, for each group in the same way.
13 Essi estrassero le sorti, piccoli e grandi, senza distinzione, secondo le loro famiglie per ciascuna porta.	13 They cast lots for each gate, the small and the large families alike.
14 La parte orientale toccò in sorte a Selemia; invece a Zaccaria suo figlio, che era un uomo prudentissimo e istruito, toccò in sorte la parte settentrionale;	14 When the lot was cast for the east side, it fell to Meshelemiah. Then they cast lots for his son Zechariah, a prudent counselor, and the north side fell to his lot.
15 Obededom e i figli suoi ebbero il lato meridionale, nella quale parte del tempio trovasi il consiglio dei seniori:	15 To Obed-edom fell the south side, and to his sons the storehouse.
16 Sefim e Osa ebbero il lato occidentale, accanto alla porta che conduce alla via della salita; una guardia era di fronte all'altra guardia.	16 To Hosah fell the west side with the Shallecheth gate at the ascending highway. For each family, watches were established.
17 Eranvi a oriente sei leviti, a settentrione quattro per giorno, a mezzogiorno pure quattro per giorno, e dove si trovava il consiglio servivano a due a due.	17 On the east, six watched each day, on the north, four each day, on the south, four each day, and at the storehouse they were two and two;

26 Erano lo stesso Selemit e i fratelli suoi i custodi dei tesori del santuario, che il re Davide aveva santificato, ed erano anche principi delle famiglie e tribuni, e centurioni, e duci dell'esercito,	26 This Shelomith and his brethren superintended all the stores of the votive offerings dedicated by King David, the heads of the families, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the commanders of the army,
27 delle cose cioè provenienti dalle guerre e dalle spoglie guerresche e consacrate per il mantenimento del tempio del Signore e de' suoi arredi.	27 from the booty they had taken in the wars, for the enhancement of the house of the LORD.
28 Tutte queste cose eran state consacrate dal veggente Samuele, da Saul figlio di Cis, da Abner figlio di Ner e da Joab figlio di Sarvia; tutti quelli che le consacravano [le affidavano] alle mani di Selemit e de' suoi fratelli.	28 Also, whatever Samuel the seer, Saul, son of Kish, Abner, son of Ner, Joab, son of Zeruiah, and all others had consecrated, was under the charge of Shelomith and his brethren.
