1 Osserverai questo rito per consacrarli al mio sacerdozio. Prendi un giovenco e due arieti senza difetto;	1 “But you shall also do this, so that they may be consecrated to me in the priesthood: Take a calf from the herd, and two immaculate rams,
2 poi pani azzimi, focacce azzime impastate con olio e schiacciate azzime cosparse di olio: le preparerai con fior di farina di frumento.	2 and unleavened bread, and a crust without leaven that has been sprinkled with oil, likewise, unleavened cakes smeared with oil. You shall make them all from the same wheat flour.
3 Le disporrai in un solo canestro e le offrirai nel canestro insieme con il giovenco e i due arieti.	3 And, having placed them in baskets, you shall offer them, along with the calf and the two rams.
4 Farai avvicinare Aronne e i suoi figli all’ingresso della tenda del convegno e li laverai con acqua.	4 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons, to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. And when you will have washed the father with his sons in water,
5 Prenderai le vesti e rivestirai Aronne della tunica, del manto dell’efod, dell’efod e del pettorale; lo cingerai con la cintura dell’efod;	5 you shall clothe Aaron in his vestments, that is, with the linen, and the tunic, and the ephod, and the breastplate, which you shall draw together with the wide belt.
6 gli porrai sul capo il turbante e fisserai il diadema sacro sopra il turbante.	6 And you shall place the headdress on his head and the holy plate upon the headdress.
7 Poi prenderai l’olio dell’unzione, lo verserai sul suo capo e lo ungerai.	7 And you shall pour the oil of unction over his head. And so, by this rite, he shall be consecrated.
8 Quanto ai suoi figli, li farai avvicinare, li rivestirai di tuniche;	8 Likewise, you shall bring forward his sons, and you shall clothe them in the linen tunics, and wrap them with the wide belt:
9 li cingerai con la cintura e legherai loro i berretti. Il sacerdozio apparterrà loro per decreto perenne. Così darai l’investitura ad Aronne e ai suoi figli.	9 Aaron, certainly, as well as his sons. And you shall impose headdresses upon them. And they shall be priests to me by a perpetual ordinance. After you have initiated their hands,
10 Farai poi avvicinare il giovenco davanti alla tenda del convegno. Aronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sulla sua testa.	10 you shall bring forward also the calf, in the presence of the tabernacle of the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon its head.
11 Immolerai il giovenco davanti al Signore, all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.	11 And you shall sacrifice it in the sight of the Lord, beside the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.
12 Prenderai parte del suo sangue e con il dito lo spalmerai sui corni dell’altare. Il resto del sangue lo verserai alla base dell’altare.	12 And taking some of the blood of the calf, you shall place it upon the horns of the altar with your finger, but the remainder of the blood you shall pour next to its base.
13 Prenderai tutto il grasso che avvolge le viscere, il lobo del fegato, i reni con il grasso che vi è sopra, e li farai ardere in sacrificio sull’altare.	13 And you shall take all the fat which covers its intestines, and the mesh of the liver, as well as the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and you shall offer them as a burnt offering upon the altar.
14 Ma la carne del giovenco, la sua pelle e i suoi escrementi li brucerai fuori dell’accampamento perché si tratta di un sacrificio per il peccato.	14 Yet truly, the flesh of the calf, and the hide and the dung, you shall burn outside, beyond the camp, because it is for sin.
15 Prenderai poi uno degli arieti; Aronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sulla sua testa.	15 Likewise, you shall take one ram, and upon its head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.
16 Immolerai l’ariete, ne raccoglierai il sangue e lo spargerai intorno all’altare.	16 And when you will have sacrificed it, you shall take from its blood and pour it around the altar.
17 Dividerai in pezzi l’ariete, ne laverai le viscere e le zampe e le disporrai sui quarti e sulla testa.	17 Then you shall cut the ram into pieces, and, having washed its intestines and feet, you shall place these upon the cut-up flesh and upon its head.
18 Allora farai bruciare sull’altare tutto l’ariete. È un olocausto in onore del Signore, un profumo gradito, un’offerta consumata dal fuoco in onore del Signore.	18 And you shall offer the entire ram as a burnt offering upon the altar. It is an oblation to the Lord, a most sweet odor of the victim of the Lord.
19 Prenderai il secondo ariete; Aronne e i suoi figli poseranno le mani sulla sua testa.	19 Likewise, you shall take the other ram, upon whose head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.
20 Lo immolerai, prenderai parte del suo sangue e ne porrai sul lobo dell’orecchio destro di Aronne, sul lobo dell’orecchio destro dei suoi figli, sul pollice della loro mano destra e sull’alluce del loro piede destro; poi spargerai il sangue intorno all’altare.	20 And when you will have immolated it, you shall take of its blood, and place it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and his sons, and on the thumbs and big toes of their right hand and right foot, and you shall pour the blood upon the altar, all around.
21 Prenderai di questo sangue dall’altare e insieme un po’ d’olio dell’unzione e ne spruzzerai su Aronne e le sue vesti, sui figli di Aronne e le loro vesti: così sarà consacrato lui con le sue vesti e, insieme con lui, i suoi figli con le loro vesti.	21 And when you have taken from the blood that is on the altar, and from the oil of unction, you shall sprinkle Aaron and his vestment, his sons and their vestments. And after they and their vestments have been consecrated,
22 Prenderai il grasso dell’ariete: la coda, il grasso che copre le viscere, il lobo del fegato, i due reni, con il grasso che vi è sopra, e la coscia destra, perché è l’ariete dell’investitura.	22 you shall take the fat of the ram, and the rump, and the lard that covers the internal organs, and the mesh of the liver, and the two kidneys along with the fat that is on them, and the right shoulder, because it is the ram of consecration,
23 Prenderai anche un pane rotondo, una focaccia all’olio e una schiacciata dal canestro di azzimi deposto davanti al Signore.	23 and one turn of bread, a crust sprinkled with oil, and a cake from the basket of unleavened bread, which was placed in the sight of the Lord.
24 Metterai il tutto sulle palme di Aronne e sulle palme dei suoi figli e farai compiere il rito di elevazione davanti al Signore.	24 And you shall place all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and you shall sanctify them, lifting them up in the sight of the Lord.
25 Riprenderai ogni cosa dalle loro mani e la farai bruciare sull’altare, insieme all’olocausto, come profumo gradito davanti al Signore: è un’offerta consumata dal fuoco in onore del Signore.	25 And you shall take all these things from their hands and burn them upon the altar as a holocaust, as a most sweet odor in the sight of the Lord, because it is his oblation.
26 Prenderai il petto dell’ariete dell’investitura di Aronne e lo presenterai con rito di elevazione davanti al Signore: diventerà la tua porzione.	26 Likewise, you shall take the chest of the ram, with which Aaron was initiated, and you shall sanctify it, lifting it up in the sight of the Lord, and it will fall to your share.
27 Consacrerai il petto con il rito di elevazione e la coscia con il rito di innalzamento, prelevandoli dall’ariete dell’investitura: saranno di Aronne e dei suoi figli.	27 And you shall sanctify both the consecrated chest and the shoulder that you separated from the ram,
28 Dovranno appartenere ad Aronne e ai suoi figli, come porzione loro riservata dagli Israeliti, in forza di legge perenne. Perché è un prelevamento, un prelevamento cioè che gli Israeliti dovranno operare in tutti i loro sacrifici di comunione, un prelevamento dovuto al Signore.	28 with which Aaron was initiated with his sons, and these will fall to the share of Aaron and his sons, as a perpetual oath by the sons of Israel. For these are the greatest and the first of their victims of peace, which they offer to the Lord.
29 Le vesti sacre di Aronne passeranno, dopo di lui, ai suoi figli, che se ne rivestiranno per ricevere l’unzione e l’investitura.	29 But the holy vestment, which Aaron shall use, his sons shall possess after him, so that they may be anointed in it and their hands may be consecrated.
30 Quello dei figli di Aronne che gli succederà nel sacerdozio ed entrerà nella tenda del convegno per officiare nel santuario, porterà queste vesti per sette giorni.	30 For seven days, he who is high priest in his place and who enters the tabernacle of the testimony to minister in the Sanctuary shall use it.
31 Poi prenderai l’ariete dell’investitura e ne cuocerai le carni in luogo santo.	31 But you shall take the ram of consecration and cook its flesh in the holy place.
32 Aronne e i suoi figli mangeranno la carne dell’ariete e il pane contenuto nel canestro all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.	32 And Aaron and his sons shall feed on it. Likewise, the loaves which are in the basket, they shall consume in the vestibule of the tabernacle of the testimony,
33 Mangeranno così ciò che sarà servito per compiere il rito espiatorio, nel corso della loro investitura e consacrazione. Nessun estraneo ne deve mangiare, perché sono cose sante.	33 so that it may be an appeasing sacrifice, and so that the hands of those who offer may be sanctified. A stranger shall not eat from these, for they are holy.
34 Nel caso che al mattino ancora restasse carne del sacrificio d’investitura e del pane, brucerai questo avanzo nel fuoco. Non lo si mangerà: è cosa santa.	34 And what may remain until morning, of the consecrated flesh or of the bread, you shall burn these remnants with fire. These shall not be eaten, because they have been sanctified.
35 Farai dunque ad Aronne e ai suoi figli quanto ti ho comandato. Per sette giorni compirai il rito dell’investitura.	35 All that I have instructed you concerning Aaron and his sons, you shall do. For seven days shall you consecrate their hands,
36 In ciascun giorno offrirai un giovenco in sacrificio per il peccato, in espiazione; toglierai il peccato dall’altare compiendo per esso il rito espiatorio, e in seguito lo ungerai per consacrarlo.	36 and you shall offer a calf for sin on each day, as an atonement. And you shall cleanse the altar when you will have immolated the victim of expiation, and you shall anoint it for sanctification.
37 Per sette giorni compirai il rito espiatorio per l’altare e lo consacrerai. Diverrà allora una cosa santissima e quanto toccherà l’altare sarà santo.	37 For seven days, you shall expiate and sanctify the altar, and it shall be the Holy of holies. All those who will touch it must be sanctified.
38 Ecco ciò che tu offrirai sull’altare: due agnelli di un anno ogni giorno, per sempre.	38 This is what you shall acquire for the altar: Two one-year-old lambs, each day continually,
39 Offrirai uno di questi agnelli al mattino, il secondo al tramonto.	39 one lamb in the morning, and the other in the evening;
40 Con il primo agnello offrirai un decimo di efa di fior di farina, impastata con un quarto di hin di olio puro, e una libagione di un quarto di hin di vino.	40 for the one lamb, a tenth part of fine flour sprinkled with crushed oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin, and wine for a libation, of the same measure;
41 Offrirai il secondo agnello al tramonto con un’oblazione e una libagione come quelle del mattino: profumo gradito, offerta consumata dal fuoco in onore del Signore.	41 truly, the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, according to the ritual of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said, as an odor of sweetness.
42 Questo è l’olocausto perenne di generazione in generazione, all’ingresso della tenda del convegno, alla presenza del Signore, dove io vi darò convegno per parlarti.	42 It is a sacrifice to the Lord, by a perpetual oblation among your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord, where I resolve to speak to you.
43 Darò convegno agli Israeliti in questo luogo, che sarà consacrato dalla mia gloria.	43 And there I will instruct the sons of Israel, and the altar shall be sanctified by my glory.
44 Consacrerò la tenda del convegno e l’altare. Consacrerò anche Aronne e i suoi figli, perché esercitino il sacerdozio per me.	44 I will also sanctify the tabernacle of the testimony with the altar, and Aaron with his sons, to exercise the priesthood for me.
45 Abiterò in mezzo agli Israeliti e sarò il loro Dio.	45 And I will live in the midst of the sons of Israel, and I will be their God.
46 Sapranno che io sono il Signore, loro Dio, che li ho fatti uscire dalla terra d’Egitto, per abitare in mezzo a loro, io il Signore, loro Dio.	46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who led them away from the land of Egypt, so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.”
