| 1 Jahve si rivolse a Mosè e ad Aronne: | 1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying: |
| 2 «Parlate ai figli di Israele e dite loro: “ Se la carne di un uomo ha lo scolo, lo scolo è impuro. | 2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them: The man who undergoes a flow of seed shall be unclean. |
| 3 Finchè dura lo scolo, questa sarà la sua impurità: o la sua carne lasci scorrere il liquido o lo trattenga, è la sua impurità. | 3 And then he shall be judged subject to this fault, if a filthy fluid, at each moment, adheres to his flesh and gathers there. |
| 4 Ogni giaciglio su cui si corica è impuro e ogni mobile su cui si siede è impuro. | 4 Every bed on which he sleeps shall be unclean, and every place where he sits. |
| 5 Chi toccherà il suo giaciglio, si laverà le vesti e si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua e sarà impuro fino a sera. | 5 If any man has touched his couch, he shall wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 6 Chi si siederà sul mobile su cui si è seduto chi soffre di scolo si laverà le vesti e si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua e sarà impuro fino a sera. | 6 If he will have sat where that man has sat, he shall also wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 7 Chi toccherà la carne di colui che soffre di scolo si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua e sarà impuro fino a sera. | 7 Whoever has touched his flesh shall wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 8 Se chi soffre di scolo sputerà su una persona pura, questa si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua e sarà impura fino a sera. | 8 If such a man has cast his spittle upon him who is clean, he shall wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 9 Ogni sella su cui cavalcherà chi soffre di scolo sarà impura. | 9 The saddle on which he has sat shall be unclean. |
| 10 Chiunque toccherà qualcosa che sia stata sotto di lui sarà impuro fino a sera; e chi la trasporterà, si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua: sarà impuro fino a sera. | 10 And whatever has been under him who has undergone a flow of seed shall be polluted until evening. Whoever carries any of these things shall wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 11 Ogni persona che toccherà chi soffre di scolo senza essersi sciacquate le mani con acqua si laverà le vesti e si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua: sarà impura fino a sera. | 11 All whom such a one has touched, not having washed his hands before, shall wash his clothes, and having washed with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 12 Un vaso di terracotta toccato da chi soffre di scolo sia spezzato e ogni oggetto di legno sia sciacquato con acqua. | 12 If he has touched an earthen vessel, it shall be broken. But if it is a wooden vessel, it shall be washed with water. |
| 13 Quando chi soffre di scolo guarirà dallo scolo, conterà sette giorni per la purificazione: si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua corrente e sarà puro. | 13 If he who suffers from this affliction will have been healed, he shall number seven days after his cleansing, and having washed his clothes and his entire body in living water, he shall be clean. |
| 14 L’ottavo giorno prenderà due tortore o due colombi, verrà al cospetto di Jahve, all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno, e li presenterà al sacerdote. | 14 Then, on the eighth day, he shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and he shall advance, in the sight of the Lord, toward the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and he shall give these to the priest, |
| 15 Con uno di essi il sacerdote farà un sacrificio espiatorio e con l’altro un olocausto. Al cospetto di Jahve il sacerdote compirà per lui il rito espiatorio purificandolo dal suo scolo. | 15 who shall offer one for sin, and the other as a holocaust. And he shall pray for him before the Lord, so that he may be cleansed from the flow of his seed. |
| 16 L’uomo dal quale uscirà un’emissione seminale si sciacquerà tutto il corpo con acqua è sarà impuro fino a sera. | 16 A man from whom the seed of sexual intercourse goes out shall wash his entire body with water, and he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 17 Qualsiasi vestito o pelle su cui sarà caduta l’emissione seminale sarà lavato con acqua e sarà impuro fino a sera. | 17 The garment or skin which he will have, he shall wash with water, and it shall be unclean until evening. |
| 18 Quando una donna e un uomo si saranno uniti maritalmente, dovranno sciacquarsi ambedue il corpo con acqua: saranno impuri fino a sera. | 18 The woman with whom he has had sexual intercourse shall be washed with water, and she shall be unclean until evening. |
| 19 Quando una donna ha un flusso, cioè esce sangue dalla sua carne, rimarrà sette giorni nella impurità delle mestruazioni: chi la tocca sarà impuro fino a sera. | 19 The woman who, at the return of the month, undergoes the flow of blood shall be separated for seven days. |
| 20 È impura ogni cosa su cui essa giacerà e siederà durante le mestruazioni. | 20 All who will touch her shall be unclean until evening. |
| 21 Chi toccherà il giaciglio di lei si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua: sarà impuro fino a sera. | 21 And everything on which she sleeps or sits, in the days of her separation, shall be polluted. |
| 22 Chi toccherà qualsiasi oggetto sul quale ella siede, si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua: sarà impuro fino a sera. | 22 Whoever will have touched her bed shall wash his clothes, and having washed himself with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 23 Anche se questi giace sul giaciglio di lei o siede sul mobile su cui essa siede, sarà impuro fino a sera. | 23 Anyone who will have touched any item on which she has sat shall wash his clothes, and having washed himself with water, he shall be polluted until evening. |
| 24 Ma se un uomo si unisce con lei, ne contrae l’impurità: sarà impuro per sette giorni e sarà impuro ogni giaciglio su cui siederà. | 24 If a man has sexual intercourse with her in the time of her monthly flow of blood, he shall be unclean for seven days, and every bed on which he sleeps shall be polluted. |
| 25 Quando una donna avrà un flusso di sangue per molti giorni, fuori del tempo delle mestruazioni, oppure quando i flussi si prolungheranno oltre il tempo delle mestruazioni, sarà impura per tutta la durata del flusso dell’impurità come nel tempo normale delle mestruazioni. | 25 The woman who undergoes a flow of blood many days beyond her time of menstruation, or whose blood does not cease to flow after the menstrual blood, as long as she is subject to this affliction, she shall be unclean, just as if she were in her time of menstruation. |
| 26 Per tutto il tempo del suo flusso, ogni giaciglio su cui essa siederà sarà per lei come il giaciglio durante le mestruazioni, e ogni mobile su cui siederà sarà impuro come l’impurità delle mestruazioni. | 26 Every bed on which she sleeps, and every item on which she sits, shall be polluted. |
| 27 Chi li tocca sarà impuro. Si laverà le vesti, si sciacquerà il corpo con acqua: sarà impuro fino a sera. | 27 Whoever will have touched these shall wash his clothes, and having washed himself with water, he shall be unclean until evening. |
| 28 Quando essa guarirà dal flusso, conterà sette giorni e poi sarà pura. | 28 If the blood has stopped and has ceased to flow, she shall number seven days for her purification, |
| 29 L’ottavo giorno, prenderà due tortore o due colombi e li presenterà al sacerdote davanti alla Tenda del convegno. | 29 and on the eighth day she shall offer for herself, to the priest, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. |
| 30 Con una, il sacerdote farà un sacrificio espiatorio e con l’altra un olocausto. Al cospetto di Jahve. il sacerdote compirà per lei il rito espiatorio purificandola dal flusso della sua impurità. | 30 And he shall offer one for sin, and the other as a holocaust, and he shall pray for her before the Lord, and for the flow of her uncleanness. |
| 31 Avvertirete i figli di Israele delle loro impurità affinchè non muoiano a causa di esse per la contaminazione della mia Dimora che è in mezzo a loro. | 31 Therefore, you shall teach the sons of Israel to be cautious of uncleanness, so that they may not die in their filth, when they will have polluted my tabernacle, which is among them. |
| 32 Questa è la legge per colui che soffre di scolo, per colui che ha un’emissione seminale che rende impuro, | 32 This is the law of him who undergoes a flow of seed, or who is polluted by sexual intercourse, |
| 33 per l’inferma a causa delle mestruazioni, per chiunque maschio o femmina abbia un flusso e per l’uomo che si unisce con una donna impura ” ». | 33 and of her who is separated in the time of menstruation, or who has a continual flow of blood, and of the man who sleeps with her. |
