1 ויהי ביום כלות משה להקים את המשכן וימשח אתו ויקדש אתו ואת כל כליו ואת המזבח ואת כל כליו וימשחם ויקדש אתם	1 Now, when Moses had completed the erection of the Dwelling and had anointed and consecrated it with all its equipment (as well as the altar with all its equipment),
2 ויקריבו נשיאי ישראל ראשי בית אבתם הם נשיאי המטת הם העמדים על הפקדים	2 an offering was made by the princes of Israel, who were heads of ancestral houses; the same princes of the tribes who supervised the census.
3 ויביאו את קרבנם לפני יהוה שש עגלת צב ושני עשר בקר עגלה על שני הנשאים ושור לאחד ויקריבו אותם לפני המשכן	3 The offering they brought before the LORD consisted of six baggage wagons and twelve oxen, that is, a wagon for every two princes, and an ox for every prince. These they presented as their offering before the Dwelling.
4 ויאמר יהוה אל משה לאמר	4 The LORD then said to Moses,
5 קח מאתם והיו לעבד את עבדת אהל מועד ונתתה אותם אל הלוים איש כפי עבדתו	5 "Accept their offering, that these things may be put to use in the service of the meeting tent. Assign them to the Levites, to each group in proportion to its duties."
6 ויקח משה את העגלת ואת הבקר ויתן אותם אל הלוים	6 So Moses accepted the wagons and oxen, and assigned them to the Levites.
7 את שתי העגלת ואת ארבעת הבקר נתן לבני גרשון כפי עבדתם	7 He gave two wagons and four oxen to the Gershonites in proportion to their duties,
8 ואת ארבע העגלת ואת שמנת הבקר נתן לבני מררי כפי עבדתם ביד איתמר בן אהרן הכהן	8 and four wagons and eight oxen to the Merarites in proportion to their duties, under the supervision of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
9 ולבני קהת לא נתן כי עבדת הקדש עלהם בכתף ישאו	9 He gave none to the Kohathites, because they had to carry on their shoulders the sacred objects which were their charge.
10 ויקריבו הנשאים את חנכת המזבח ביום המשח אתו ויקריבו הנשיאם את קרבנם לפני המזבח	10 For the dedication of the altar also, the princes brought offerings before the altar on the day it was anointed.
11 ויאמר יהוה אל משה נשיא אחד ליום נשיא אחד ליום יקריבו את קרבנם לחנכת המזבח	11 But the LORD said to Moses, "Let one prince a day present his offering for the dedication of the altar."
12 ויהי המקריב ביום הראשון את קרבנו נחשון בן עמינדב למטה יהודה	12 The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon, son of Amminadab, prince of the tribe of Judah.
13 וקרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה	13 His offering consisted of one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels according to the sanctuary standard and one silver basin weighing seventy shekels, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering;
14 כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת	14 one gold cup of ten shekels' weight filled with incense;
15 פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה	15 one young bull, one ram, and one yearling lamb for a holocaust;
16 שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת	16 one goat for a sin offering;
17 ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתודים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן נחשון בן עמינדב	17 and two oxen, five rams, five goats, and five yearling lambs for a peace offering. This was the offering of Nahshon, son of Amminadab.
18 ביום השני הקריב נתנאל בן צוער נשיא יששכר	18 On the second day Nethanel, son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, made his offering.
19 הקרב את קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה	19 He presented as his offering one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels according to the sanctuary standard and one silver basin weighing seventy shekels, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering;
20 כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת	20 one gold cup of ten shekels' weight filled with incense;
21 פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה	21 one young bull, one ram, and one yearling lamb for a holocaust;
22 שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת	22 one goat for a sin offering;
23 ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתודים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן נתנאל בן צוער	23 and two oxen, five rams, five goats, and five yearling lambs for a peace offering. This was the offering of Nethanel, son of Zuar.
24 ביום השלישי נשיא לבני זבולן אליאב בן חלן	24 On the third day it was the turn of Eliab, son of Helon, prince of the Zebulunites.
25 קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה	25 His offering consisted of one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels according to the sanctuary standard and one silver basin weighing seventy shekels, both filled with fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering;

36 ביום החמישי נשיא לבני שמעון שלמיאל בן צורישדי	36 On the fifth day it was the turn of Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai, prince of the Simeonites.

42 ביום הששי נשיא לבני גד אליסף בן דעואל	42 On the sixth day it was the turn of Eliasaph, son of Reuel, prince of the Gadites.

48 ביום השביעי נשיא לבני אפרים אלישמע בן עמיהוד	48 On the seventh day it was the turn of Elishama, son of Ammihud, prince of the Ephraimites.

54 ביום השמיני נשיא לבני מנשה גמליאל בן פדהצור	54 On the eighth day it was the turn of Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur, prince of the Manassehites.

60 ביום התשיעי נשיא לבני בנימן אבידן בן גדעני	60 On the ninth day it was the turn of Abidan, son of Gideoni, prince of the Benjaminites.

84 זאת חנכת המזבח ביום המשח אתו מאת נשיאי ישראל קערת כסף שתים עשרה מזרקי כסף שנים עשר כפות זהב שתים עשרה	84 These were the offerings for the dedication of the altar, given by the princes of Israel on the occasion of its anointing: twelve silver plates, twelve silver basins, and twelve gold cups.
85 שלשים ומאה הקערה האחת כסף ושבעים המזרק האחד כל כסף הכלים אלפים וארבע מאות בשקל הקדש	85 Each silver plate weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each silver basin seventy, so that all the silver of these vessels amounted to two thousand four hundred shekels, according to the sanctuary standard.
86 כפות זהב שתים עשרה מלאת קטרת עשרה עשרה הכף בשקל הקדש כל זהב הכפות עשרים ומאה	86 The twelve gold cups that were filled with incense weighed ten shekels apiece, according to the sanctuary standard, so that all the gold of the cups amounted to one hundred and twenty shekels.
87 כל הבקר לעלה שנים עשר פרים אילם שנים עשר כבשים בני שנה שנים עשר ומנחתם ושעירי עזים שנים עשר לחטאת	87 The animals for the holocausts were, in all, twelve young bulls, twelve rams, and twelve yearling lambs, with their cereal offerings; those for the sin offerings were twelve goats.
88 וכל בקר זבח השלמים עשרים וארבעה פרים אילם ששים עתדים ששים כבשים בני שנה ששים זאת חנכת המזבח אחרי המשח אתו	88 The animals for the peace offerings were, in all, twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty goats, and sixty yearling lambs. These, then, were the offerings for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed.
89 ובבא משה אל אהל מועד לדבר אתו וישמע את הקול מדבר אליו מעל הכפרת אשר על ארן העדת מבין שני הכרבים וידבר אליו	89 When Moses entered the meeting tent to speak with him, he heard the voice addressing him from above the propitiatory on the ark of the commandments, from between the two cherubim; and it spoke to him. . . .
