1 Allora Tobia prese a parte l'Angelo creduto da lui un uomo, e gli disse: Fratello Azaria, ti prego di ascoltare le mie parole.	1 Then Tobias called the angel to him, whom he took to be a man, and said to him: Brother Azarias, I pray thee hearken to my words:
2 Quand'io mi domassi a te in qualità di schiavo, non potrei rimunerare la tua assistenza.	2 If I should give myself to be thy servant I should not make a worthy return for thy care.
3 Con tutto ciò io ti prego di prender teco cavalcatura, e servi, e di andare a Rages città dei Medi a trovar Gabelo, e di rendere a lui il suo chirografo, e ritirare il denaro e pregarlo che venga alle mie nozze.	3 However, I beseech thee, to take with thee beasts and servants, and to go to Gabelus to Rages the city of the Medes: and to restore to him his note of hand, and receive of him the money, and desire him to come to my wedding.
4 Perocchè tu pur sai come il padre mio conta i giorni, e se io tarderò un giorno di più, l'anima di lui sarà in tristezza.	4 For thou knowest that my father numbereth the days: and if I stay one day more, his soul will be afflicted.
5 E certamente tu vedi come Raguele mi ha scongiurato, e io non possa disprezzare le sue istanze.	5 And indeed thou seest how Raguel hath adjured me, whose adjuring I cannot despise.
6 Allora Raphaele, presi quattro servi di Raguele, e due cammelli, andò a Rages città dei Medi, e trovato Gabelo, gli rendè il suo chirografo, e ritirò da lui tutto il denaro.	6 Then Raphael took four of Raguel's servants, and two camels, and went to Rages the city of the Medes: and finding Gabelus, gave him his note of hand, and received of him all the money.
7 E raccontò a lui tutto quello, che era avvenuto al figliuolo di Tobia; e lo fece venir seco alle nozze.	7 And he told him concerning Tobias the son of Tobias, all that had been done: and made him come with him to the wedding.
8 Ed egli giunto a casa di Raguele, trovò Tobia a mensa, il quale si levò su, e si baciarono l'un l'altro; e Gabelo pianse e benedisse Dio.	8 And when he was come into Raguel's house he found Tobias sitting at the table: and he leaped up, and they kissed each other: and Gabelus wept, and blessed God,
9 E disse: Ti benedica il Dio d'Israele, perocchè tu se' figliuolo di un uomo veramente dabbene, e giusto, e timorate di Dio, e limosiniere.	9 And said: The God of Israel bless thee, because thou art the son of a very good and just man, and that feareth God, and doth almsdeeds:
10 E sieno date benedizioni alla tua moglie, e a vostri genitori.	10 And may a blessing come upon thy wife and upon your parents.
11 E veggiate i figliuoli vostri, e i figli de'vostri figliuoli sino alla terza, e quarta generazione, e la vostra stirpe sia benedetta dal Dio d'Israele, che regna per tutti i secoli.	11 And may you see your children, and your children's children, unto the third and fourth generation: and may your seed be blessed by the God of Israel, who reigneth for ever and ever.
12 E tutti avendo detto, Così sia, si posero a mensa: ma lo stesso convito nuzziale era celebrato nel timor del Signore.	12 And when all had said, Amen, they went to the feast: but the marriage feast they celebrated also with the fear of the Lord.
