Michea 7

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Oh! me sventurato! Son divenuto come colui che raccoglie in autunno i grappoli dopo la vendemmia! Non c'è un grappolo da mangiare; l'anima mia desidera i fichi primaticci.	1 How wretched I am, a harvester in summer time, like a gleaner at the vintage: not a single cluster to eat,none of those early figs I love!
2 Non c'è più un santo sopra la terra, non c'è più un giusto fra gli uomini: tutti tendono insidie per (spargere) il sangue, il fratello va a caccia del fratello per dargli la morte.	2 The faithful have vanished from the land: there is no one honest left. Al of them are on the alert forblood, every man hunting his brother with a net.
3 Il male delle loro mani lo chiaman bene: il principe esige, il giudice è intento ai donativi, il grande manifesta il desiderio dell'anima sua: hanno messo in scompiglio la terra.	3 Their hands are adept at wrong-doing: the official makes his demands, the judge gives judgement for abribe, the man in power pronounces as he pleases.
4 Il migliore di essi è come una marruca, e il più giusto è come la spina della siepe. Il giorno della tua ispezione, del tuo castigo è venuto, ora verrà la loro distruzione.	4 The best of them is like a briar, the most honest of them like a thorn-hedge. Now from the north theirpunishment approaches! That wil be when they are confounded!
5 Non vogliate credere all'amico, non vi fidate di chi guida, davanti a quella che dorme nel tuo seno tieni chiusa la tua bocca;	5 Trust no neighbour, put no confidence in a friend; do not open your mouth to the wife who shares yourbed.
6 perchè il figlio fa oltraggio al padre, la figlia insorge contro sua madre, la nuora contro la suocera, e i nemici dell'uomo sono quelli di sua famiglia.	6 For son insults father, daughter rebels against mother, daughter-in-law against mother-in-law; aperson's enemies come from within the household itself.
7 Ma io volgerò i miei sguardi al Signore, aspetterò Dio mio salvatore; il mio Dio mi ascolterà.	7 But I shall look to Yahweh, my hope is in the God who will save me; my God will hear me.
8 Non ti rallegrare a mio riguardo, o mia nemica, perchè, se son caduta, risorgerò, e mentre sarò nelle tenebre il Signore è la mia luce.	8 Do not gloat over me, my enemy: though I have fal en, I shal rise; though I live in darkness, Yahweh ismy light.
9 Io porterò l'ira del Signore, perchè ho peccato contro di lui, finché egli giudichi la mia causa e stabilisca il mio diritto. Egli mi farà uscire alla luce, ed io vedrò la sua giustizia.	9 I must endure Yahweh's anger for I have sinned against him, until he takes up my cause and rights mywrongs; he wil bring me out into the light, and then I shal contemplate his saving justice.
10 E la mia nemica vedrà e sarà coperta di confusione, essa, che mi dice: « Dov'è il Signore tuo Dio? » I miei occhi la contempleranno, allora essa sarà calpestata come il fango delle piazze.	10 When my enemy sees this, she wil be covered with shame, having sneered, 'Where is Yahweh yourGod?' This time, I shall be watching as she is trampled underfoot like mud in the streets.
11 (Ecco viene) il giorno in cui saranno riedificate le tue rovine, in quel giorno sarà lontana la legge.	11 That wil be the day for rebuilding your walls! The day for expanding your frontiers!
12 In quel giorno verranno fino a te daall'Assiria, e fino alle città fortificate, e dalle città fortificate fino al fiume, e da un mare all'altro mare, da un monte aJ'altro monte.	12 The day when others come to you al the way from Assyria, from Egypt, from Tyre and al the way fromthe Euphrates, from sea to sea, from the mountains to the mountains!
13 E la terra sarà in desolazione, per colpa dei suoi abitanti, a causa del frutto dei loro pensieri.	13 The earth wil become a desert by reason of its inhabitants, in return for what they have done.
14 Pasci il tuo popolo colla tua verga, il gregge della tua eredità, che sta solitario nella foresta, in mezzo al Carmelo: pascoleranno in Basan e in Galaad come nei giorni antichi.	14 With shepherd's crook lead your people to pasture, the flock that is your heritage, living confined in aforest with meadow land al round. Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of old!
15 Come nel giorno dell'uscita dalla terra d'Egitto, io gli farò vedere dei prodigi.	15 As in the days when you came out of Egypt, grant us to see wonders!
16 Le nazioni vedranno e saran confuse di tutta la loro potenza, si metteranno la mano sulla bocca, e le loro orecchie saranno sorde.	16 The nations wil see and be confounded in spite of al their power; they wil put their hands over theirmouths, their ears wil be deafened.
17 Leccheranno da polvere come i serpenti, come i rettili della terra saranno perturbate nelle loro dimore: avran paura del Signore Dio nostro, e temeranno te.	17 They wil lick the dust like snakes, like reptiles that crawl on the earth. They wil creep trembling out oftheir lairs, in terror before you.
18 Qual Dio è sìmile a te, che togli liniquità e passi sopra il peccato degli avanzi della tua eredità? Non darà più libero sfogo al suo furore, perchè è uno che vuoje (usare) misericordia.	18 What god can compare with you for pardoning guilt and for overlooking crime? He does not harbouranger for ever, since he delights in showing faithful love.
19 Egli si volgerà ed avrà pietà di noi, seppellirà le nostre iniquità, getterà nel profondo del mare tutti i nostri peccati.	19 Once more have pity on us, tread down our faults; throw al our sins to the bottom of the sea.
20 Mostrerai la (tua) veracità a Giacobbe, la (tua) misericordia ad Abramo, come giurasti ai,nostri padri fin dai tempi antichi.	20 Grant Jacob your faithfulness, and Abraham your faithful love, as you swore to our ancestors from thedays of long ago.
