1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:
2 «Prendi Aronne insieme ai suoi figli, le vesti, l’olio dell’unzione, il giovenco del sacrificio per il peccato, i due arieti e il cesto dei pani azzimi;	2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.
3 convoca tutta la comunità all’ingresso della tenda del convegno».	3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'
4 Mosè fece come il Signore gli aveva ordinato e la comunità fu convocata all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.	4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,
5 Mosè disse alla comunità: «Questo il Signore ha ordinato di fare».	5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'
6 Mosè fece accostare Aronne e i suoi figli e li lavò con acqua.	6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.
7 Poi rivestì Aronne della tunica, lo cinse della cintura, gli pose addosso il manto, gli mise l’efod e lo cinse con la cintura dell’efod, con la quale lo fissò.	7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.
8 Gli mise anche il pettorale, e nel pettorale pose gli urìm e i tummìm.	8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.
9 Poi gli mise in capo il turbante e sul davanti del turbante pose la lamina d’oro, il sacro diadema, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.
10 Poi Mosè prese l’olio dell’unzione, unse la Dimora e tutte le cose che vi si trovavano e così le consacrò.	10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.
11 Fece con esso sette volte l’aspersione sull’altare, unse l’altare con tutti i suoi accessori, il bacino con il suo piedistallo, per consacrarli.	11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.
12 Versò l’olio dell’unzione sul capo di Aronne e unse Aronne, per consacrarlo.	12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.
13 Poi Mosè fece avvicinare i figli di Aronne, li vestì di tuniche, li cinse con le cinture e legò sul loro capo i turbanti, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.
14 Fece quindi accostare il giovenco del sacrificio per il peccato e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa del giovenco del sacrificio per il peccato.	14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head
15 Mosè lo scannò, ne prese del sangue, ne spalmò con il dito i corni attorno all’altare e purificò l’altare; poi sparse il resto del sangue alla base dell’altare e lo consacrò per compiere su di esso il rito espiatorio.	15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.
16 Prese tutto il grasso aderente alle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i due reni con il loro grasso e Mosè fece bruciare tutto sull’altare.	16 He then took all the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneys and their fat;and he burnt this on the altar,
17 Ma bruciò nel fuoco fuori dell’accampamento il giovenco, cioè la sua pelle, la sua carne e gli escrementi, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.	17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.
18 Fece quindi avvicinare l’ariete dell’olocausto e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa dell’ariete.	18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head
19 Mosè lo scannò e ne sparse il sangue attorno all’altare.	19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.
20 Fece a pezzi l’ariete e ne bruciò testa, pezzi e grasso.	20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.
21 Dopo averne lavato le viscere e le zampe con acqua, fece bruciare tutto l’ariete sull’altare: fu un olocausto di profumo gradito, un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.	21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.
22 Poi fece accostare il secondo ariete, l’ariete del rito di investitura, e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa dell’ariete.	22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head
23 Mosè lo scannò, ne prese del sangue e lo pose sul lobo dell’orecchio destro di Aronne e sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro.	23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
24 Mosè fece avvicinare i figli di Aronne e pose un po’ del sangue sul lobo del loro orecchio destro, sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro; sparse il resto del sangue attorno all’altare.	24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.
25 Prese il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso aderente alle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i reni con il loro grasso e la coscia destra;	25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.
26 dal canestro dei pani azzimi, che stava davanti al Signore, prese una focaccia senza lievito, una focaccia di pasta con l’olio e una schiacciata e le pose sulle parti grasse e sulla coscia destra.	26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,
27 Mise tutte queste cose sulle palme di Aronne e dei suoi figli e compì il rito di elevazione davanti al Signore.	27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.
28 Mosè quindi le prese dalle loro palme e le fece bruciare sull’altare insieme all’olocausto: sacrificio per l’investitura, di profumo gradito, sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore.	28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.
29 Poi Mosè prese il petto dell’ariete e lo presentò con il rito di elevazione davanti al Signore; questa fu la parte dell’ariete del rito di investitura toccata a Mosè, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.	29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.
30 Mosè prese quindi l’olio dell’unzione e il sangue che era sopra l’altare, ne asperse Aronne e le sue vesti, i figli di lui e le loro vesti insieme a lui; così consacrò Aronne e le sue vesti e similmente i suoi figli e le loro vesti.	30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.
31 Poi Mosè disse ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: «Fate cuocere la carne all’ingresso della tenda del convegno e là mangiatela con il pane che è nel canestro per il rito dell’investitura, come ho ordinato dicendo: La mangeranno Aronne e i suoi figli.	31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."
32 Quel che avanza della carne e del pane, bruciatelo nel fuoco.	32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.
33 Per sette giorni non uscirete dall’ingresso della tenda del convegno, finché cioè non siano compiuti i giorni della vostra investitura, perché il rito della vostra investitura durerà sette giorni.	33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.
34 Come si è fatto oggi, così il Signore ha ordinato che si faccia per il rito espiatorio su di voi.	34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;
35 Rimarrete sette giorni all’ingresso della tenda del convegno, giorno e notte, osservando il comandamento del Signore, perché non moriate; così infatti mi è stato ordinato».	35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'
36 Aronne e i suoi figli fecero quanto era stato ordinato dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè.	36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.
