1 Du maître de choeur. Sur la... de Gat. Des fils de Coré.Psaume.	1 Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for the sons of Core.
2 Que tes demeures sont désirables, Yahvé Sabaot!	2 How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host!
3 Mon âme soupire et languit après les parvis de Yahvé, mon coeur et ma chair crient de joie vers leDieu vivant.	3 my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.
4 Le passereau même a trouvé une maison, et l'hirondelle un nid pour elle, où elle pose ses petits: tesautels, Yahvé Sabaot, mon Roi et mon Dieu.	4 For the sparrow hath found herself a house, and the turtle a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.
5 Heureux les habitants de ta maison, ils te louent sans cesse.	5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house, O Lord: they shall praise thee for ever and ever.
6 Heureux les hommes dont la force est en toi, qui gardent au coeur les montées.	6 Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,
7 Quand ils passent au val du Baumier, où l'on ménage une fontaine, surcroît de bénédiction, la pluied'automne les enveloppe.	7 in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.
8 Ils marchent de hauteur en hauteur, Dieu leur apparaît dans Sion.	8 For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.
9 Yahvé Dieu Sabaot, écoute ma prière, prête l'oreille, Dieu de Jacob;	9 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.
10 ô Dieu notre bouclier, vois, regarde la face de ton messie.	10 Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.
11 Mieux vaut un jour en tes parvis que mille à ma guise, rester au seuil dans la maison de mon Dieuqu'habiter la tente de l'impie.	11 For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.
12 Car Yahvé Dieu est rempart et bouclier, il donne grâce et gloire; Yahvé ne refuse pas le bonheur àceux qui marchent en parfaits.	12 For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.
13 Yahvé Sabaot, heureux qui se fie en toi!	13 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
