Salmos 24

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Salmo. De David. De Yahveh es la tierra y cuanto hay en ella, el orbe y los que en él habitan;	1 [Psalm Of David] To Yahweh belong the earth and al it contains, the world and al who live there;
2 que él lo fundó sobre los mares, él lo asentó sobre los ríos.	2 it is he who laid its foundations on the seas, on the flowing waters fixed it firm.
3 ¿Quién subirá al monte de Yahveh?, ¿quién podrá estar en su recinto santo?	3 Who shal go up to the mountain of Yahweh? Who shal take a stand in his holy place?
4 El de manos limpias y puro corazón, el que a la vanidad no lleva su alma, ni con engaño jura.	4 The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose heart is not set on vanities, who does not swear an oathin order to deceive.
5 El logrará la bendición de Yahveh, la justicia del Dios de su salvación.	5 Such a one wil receive blessing from Yahweh, saving justice from the God of his salvation.
6 Tal es la raza de los que le buscan, los que van tras tu rostro, oh Dios de Jacob. Pausa.	6 Such is the people that seeks him, that seeks your presence, God of Jacob.Pause
7 ¡Puertas, levantad vuestros dinteles, alzaos, portones antiguos, para que entre el rey de la gloria!	7 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
8 ¿Quién es ese rey de gloria? Yahveh, el fuerte, el valiente, Yahveh, valiente en la batalla.	8 Who is he, this king of glory? It is Yahweh, strong and valiant, Yahweh valiant in battle.
9 ¡Puertas, levantad vuestros dinteles, alzaos, portones antiguos, para que entre el rey de la gloria!	9 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
10 ¿Quién es ese rey de gloria? Yahveh Sebaot, él es el rey de gloria. Pausa	10 Who is he, this king of glory? Yahweh Sabaoth, he is the king of glory.Pause
