1 ¿Por qué Sadday no se reserva tiempos, y los que le conocen no contemplan sus días?	1 Why are not times set by the Almighty, and why do his friends not see his days?
2 Los malvados remueven los mojones, roban el rebaño y su pastor.	2 The wicked remove landmarks; they steal away herds and pasture them.
3 Se llevan el asno de los huérfanos, toman en prenda el buey de la viuda.	3 The asses of orphans they drive away; they take the widow's ox for a pledge.

13 Otros hay rebeldes a la luz: no reconocen sus caminos ni frecuentan sus senderos.	13 There are those who are rebels against the light; they know not its ways; they abide not in its paths.
14 Aún no es de día cuando el asesino se levanta para matar al pobre y al menesteroso. Por la noche merodea el ladrón.	14 When there is no light the murderer rises, to kill the poor and needy.
15 El ojo del adúltero el crepúsculo espía: «Ningún ojo - dice - me divisa», y cubre su rostro con un velo.	15 The eye of the adulterer watches for the twilight; he says, "No eye will see me." In the night the thief roams about, and he puts a mask over his face;

22 Pero Aquel que agarra con su fuerza a los tiranos se levanta, y va el otro no cuenta con la vida.	22 To him who rises without assurance of his life
23 Le dejaba apoyarse con seguridad, pero sus ojos vigilaban sus caminos.	23 he gives safety and support. He sustains the mighty by his strength, and his eyes are on their ways.
