1 אז תדמה מלכות השמים לעשר עלמות אשר לקחו את נרותיהן ותצאנה לקראת החתן	1 Então o Reino dos céus será semelhante a dez virgens, que saíram com suas lâmpadas ao encontro do esposo.
2 חמש מהן היו חכמות וחמש כסילות	2 Cinco dentre elas eram tolas e cinco, prudentes.
3 הכסילות לקחו את הנרות ולא לקחו עמהן שמן	3 Tomando suas lâmpadas, as tolas não levaram óleo consigo.
4 והחכמות לקחו שמן בכליהן ואת נרותיהן	4 As prudentes, todavia, levaram de reserva vasos de óleo junto com as lâmpadas.
5 וכאשר בשש החתן לבוא ותנמנה כלן ותרדמנה	5 Tardando o esposo, cochilaram todas e adormeceram.
6 ויהי בחצות הלילה ותהי צוחה הנה החתן צאינה לקראתו	6 No meio da noite, porém, ouviu-se um clamor: Eis o esposo, ide-lhe ao encontro.
7 אז התעוררו כל העלמות ההן ותיטבנה את נרותיהן	7 E as virgens levantaram-se todas e prepararam suas lâmpadas.
8 ותאמרנה הכסילות אל החכמות תנה לנו משמנכן כי יכבו נרותינו	8 As tolas disseram às prudentes: Dai-nos de vosso óleo, porque nossas lâmpadas se estão apagando.
9 ותענינה החכמות לאמר לא כן פן יחסר לנו ולכן כי אם לכנה אל המוכרים וקנינה לכן	9 As prudentes responderam: Não temos o suficiente para nós e para vós; é preferível irdes aos vendedores, a fim de o comprardes para vós.
10 ויהי בעת לכתן לקנות ויבוא החתן והנכנות ללכת באו אתו אל החתנה ותסגר הדלת	10 Ora, enquanto foram comprar, veio o esposo. As que estavam preparadas entraram com ele para a sala das bodas e foi fechada a porta.
11 ואחרי כן באו גם שאר העלמות ותאמרנה אדנינו אדנינו פתח לנו	11 Mais tarde, chegaram também as outras e diziam: Senhor, senhor, abre-nos!
12 ויען ויאמר אמן אמר אני לכן לא ידעתי אתכן	12 Mas ele respondeu: Em verdade vos digo: não vos conheço!
13 לכן שקדו כי אינכם יודעים את היום ואת השעה אשר יבא בה בן האדם	13 Vigiai, pois, porque não sabeis nem o dia nem a hora.
14 כי כמו איש נסע למרחוק אשר קרא אל עבדיו וימסר להם את רכושו	14 Será também como um homem que, tendo de viajar, reuniu seus servos e lhes confiou seus bens.
15 ויתן לזה חמש ככרים ולזה שתים ולזה אחת לכל איש ואיש כפי ערכו וימהר ויסע משם	15 A um deu cinco talentos; a outro, dois; e a outro, um, segundo a capacidade de cada um. Depois partiu.
16 וילך האיש הלקח חמש ככרים ויסחר בהן ויעש לו חמש ככרים אחרות	16 Logo em seguida, o que recebeu cinco talentos negociou com eles; fê-los produzir, e ganhou outros cinco.
17 וכן הלקח שתים גם הוא הרויח שתים אחרות	17 Do mesmo modo, o que recebeu dois, ganhou outros dois.
18 אך לקח האחת הלך ויחפר באדמה ויטמן את כסף אדניו	18 Mas, o que recebeu apenas um, foi cavar a terra e escondeu o dinheiro de seu senhor.
19 ואחרי ימים רבים בא אדוני העבדים ההם ויעש חשבון עמהם	19 Muito tempo depois, o senhor daqueles servos voltou e pediu-lhes contas.
20 ויגש הלקח חמש הככרים ויבא חמש ככרים אחרות לאמר אדני חמש ככרים מסרת לי הנה חמש ככרים אחרות הרוחתי בהן	20 O que recebeu cinco talentos, aproximou-se e apresentou outros cinco: - Senhor, disse-lhe, confiaste-me cinco talentos; eis aqui outros cinco que ganhei.?
21 ויאמר אליו אדניו כן העבד הטוב והנאמן כי במעט נאמן היית ועל הרבה אפקידך בוא אל שמחת אדניך	21 Disse-lhe seu senhor: - Muito bem, servo bom e fiel; já que foste fiel no pouco, eu te confiarei muito. Vem regozijar-te com teu senhor.
22 ויגש גם לקח הככרים ויאמר אדני ככרים מסרת לי הנה ככרים הרוחתי בהן	22 O que recebeu dois talentos, adiantou-se também e disse: - Senhor, confiaste-me dois talentos; eis aqui os dois outros que lucrei.
23 ויאמר אליו אדניו היטבת העבד הטוב והנאמן במזער נאמן היית ועל הרבה אפקידך בוא אל שמחת אדניך	23 Disse-lhe seu senhor: - Muito bem, servo bom e fiel; já que foste fiel no pouco, eu te confiarei muito. Vem regozijar-te com teu senhor.
24 ויגש גם הלקח את הככר האחת ויאמר אדני ידעתיך כי איש קשה אתה קצר באשר לא זרעת וכנס מאשר לא פזרת	24 Veio, por fim, o que recebeu só um talento: - Senhor, disse-lhe, sabia que és um homem duro, que colhes onde não semeaste e recolhes onde não espalhaste.
25 ואירא ואלך ואטמן את ככרך באדמה ועתה הא לך את אשר לך	25 Por isso, tive medo e fui esconder teu talento na terra. Eis aqui, toma o que te pertence.
26 ויען אדניו ויאמר אליו העבד הרע והעצל אתה ידעת כי קצר אנכי באשר לא זרעתי וכנס מאשר לא פזרתי	26 Respondeu-lhe seu senhor: - Servo mau e preguiçoso! Sabias que colho onde não semeei e que recolho onde não espalhei.
27 לכן היה עליך לתת את כספי לשלחנים ואני בבואי הייתי לקח את אשר לי בתרבית	27 Devias, pois, levar meu dinheiro ao banco e, à minha volta, eu receberia com os juros o que é meu.
28 על כן שאו ממנו את הככר ותנו אל האיש אשר לו עשר הככרים	28 Tirai-lhe este talento e dai-o ao que tem dez.
29 כי כל איש אשר יש לו ינתן לו ויעדיף והאיש אשר אין לו גם את אשר לו יקח ממנו	29 Dar-se-á ao que tem e terá em abundância. Mas ao que não tem, tirar-se-á mesmo aquilo que julga ter.
30 ואת עבד הבליעל השליכו אל החשך החיצון שם תהיה היללה וחרק השנים	30 E a esse servo inútil, jogai-o nas trevas exteriores; ali haverá choro e ranger de dentes.
31 והיה כי יבוא בן האדם בכבודו וכל המלאכים הקדשים עמו וישב על כסא כבודו	31 Quando o Filho do Homem voltar na sua glória e todos os anjos com ele, sentar-se-á no seu trono glorioso.
32 ונאספו לפניו כל הגוים והפריד בינותם כאשר יפריד הרעה את הכבשים מן העתודים	32 Todas as nações se reunirão diante dele e ele separará uns dos outros, como o pastor separa as ovelhas dos cabritos.
33 והציב את הכבשים לימינו ואת העתודים לשמאלו	33 Colocará as ovelhas à sua direita e os cabritos à sua esquerda.
34 אז יאמר המלך אל הנצבים לימינו באו ברוכי אבי ורשו את המלכות המוכנה לכם למן הוסד העולם	34 Então o Rei dirá aos que estão à direita: - Vinde, benditos de meu Pai, tomai posse do Reino que vos está preparado desde a criação do mundo,
35 כי רעב הייתי ותאכילני צמא הייתי ותשקוני גר הייתי ותאספוני	35 for I hungered, and ye gave me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36 ערום ותכסוני חולה ותבקרוני במשמר הייתי ותבאו אלי	36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was ill, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.
37 וענו הצדיקים ואמרו אדנינו מתי ראינוך רעב ונכלכלך או צמא ונשקה אותך	37 Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and nourished thee; or thirsting, and gave thee to drink?
38 ומתי ראינוך גר ונאספך או ערם ונכסך	38 and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in; or naked, and clothed thee?
39 ומתי ראינוך חולה או במשמר ונבא אליך	39 and when saw we thee ill, or in prison, and came to thee?
40 והמלך יענה ויאמר אליהם אמן אמר אני לכם מה שעשיתם לאחד מאחי הצעירים האלה לי עשיתם	40 And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.
41 ואז יאמר גם אל הנצבים לשמאלו לכו מעלי אתם הארורים אל אש עולם המוכנה לשטן ולמלאכיו	41 Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 כי רעב הייתי ולא האכלתם אותי צמא הייתי ולא השקיתם אותי	42 for I hungered, and ye gave me not to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me not to drink;
43 גר הייתי ולא אספתם אותי ערום ולא כסיתם אותי חולה ובמשמר ולא בקרתם אותי	43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye did not clothe me; ill, and in prison, and ye did not visit me.
44 וענו גם הם ואמרו אדנינו מתי ראינוך רעב או צמא או גר או ערום או חולה או במשמר ולא שרתנוך	44 Then shall *they* also answer saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and have not ministered to thee?
45 אז יענה אתם לאמר אמן אמר אני לכם מה שלא עשיתם לאחד מן הצעירים האלה גם לי לא עשיתם	45 Then shall he answer them saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have not done it to one of these least, neither have ye done it to me.
46 וילכו אלה למעצבת עולם והצדיקים לחיי עולם	46 And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal.
