1 - E mi voltai e alzai gli occhi, e vidi un rotolo volante.	1 And I turned and lifted up my eyes: and I saw, and behold a volume flying.
2 E mi disse: -Che cosa vedi?- Risposi: -Io vedo un rotolo volante, lungo venti cubiti e largo dieci.	2 And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I see a volume flying: the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
3 E mi disse: - Questa è la maledizione che esce sopra la faccia di tutta la terra; perchè chiunque ruba, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato; e chiunque spergiura, come ivi sta scritto, sarà giudicato similmente.	3 And he said to me: This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the earth: for every thief shall be judged as is there written: and every one that sweareth in like manner shall be judged by it.
4 "I o l a f a r ò us c i r e ", di c e i l Si g no r e de g l i e s e r c i t i “ e d e s s a v e r r à a l l a casa di chi giura il falso nel nome mio, e dimorerà in mezzo alla sua casa e la consumerà col suo legname e colle pietre sue". -	4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.
5 E l'angelo che mi parlava venne fuori e mi disse: - Alza gli occhi tuoi e guarda ciò che vien fuori. -	5 And the angel went forth that spoke in me, and he said to me: Lift up thy eyes, and see what this is, that goeth forth.
6 Ed io dissi: - Che cosa è mai?- Rispose: - È un'anfora che esce. - Poi soggiunse: - Questo è il loro occhio su tutta la terra. -	6 And I said: What is it? And he said: This is a vessel going forth. And he said: This is their eye in all the earth.
7 In quel mentre un talento di piombo veniva portato ed ecco che una donna stava seduta dentro nell'anfora.	7 And behold a talent of lead was carried, and behold a woman sitting in the midst of the vessel.
8 E disse: - Questa è l'empietà. - E la sospinse dentro nell'anfora e vi pose sopra la massa di piombo.	8 And he said: This is wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the vessel, and cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9 E alzai gli occhi e osservai ed ecco, due donne vennero fuori ventilando le ali; avevan ali come di nibbio, e sollevarono l'anfora tra la terra e il cielo.	9 And I lifted up my eyes and looked: and behold there came out two women, and wind was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite: and they lifted up the vessel between the earth and the heaven.
10 Ed io dissi all'angelo che parlava meco: - Dove trasportano esse l'anfora? -	10 And I said to the angel that spoke in me: Whither do these carry the vessel?
11 Rispose: - Nella terra di Sennaar per fabbricarle una casa e collocarla e stabilirla ivi nella sua propria sede. -	11 And he said to me: That a house may be built for it in the land of Sennaar, and that it may be established, and set there upon its own basis.
