1 Du maître de chant. Sur les instruments à cordes. Sur l'octacorde. Psaume de David.	1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments; according to The Sheminith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, nor chasten me in thy wrath.
2 Yahvé, ne me châtie point dans ta colère, ne me reprends point dans ta fureur.	2 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 Pitié pour moi, Yahvé, je suis à bout de force, guéris-moi, Yahvé, mes os sont bouleversés,	3 My soul also is sorely troubled. But thou, O LORD--how long?
4 mon âme est toute bouleversée. Mais toi, Yahvé, jusques à quand?	4 Turn, O LORD, save my life; deliver me for the sake of thy steadfast love.
5 Reviens, Yahvé, délivre mon âme, sauve-moi, en raison de ton amour.	5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who can give thee praise?
6 Car, dans la mort, nul souvenir de toi: dans le shéol, qui te louerait?	6 I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.
7 Je me suis épuisé en gémissements, chaque nuit, je baigne ma couche; de mes larmes j'arrose monlit,	7 My eye wastes away because of grief, it grows weak because of all my foes.
8 mon oeil est rongé de pleurs. Insolence chez tous mes oppresseurs;	8 Depart from me, all you workers of evil; for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
9 loin de moi, tous les malfaisants! Car Yahvé entend la voix de mes sanglots;	9 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD accepts my prayer.
10 Yahvé entend ma supplication, Yahvé accueillera ma prière.	10 All my enemies shall be ashamed and sorely troubled; they shall turn back, and be put to shame in a moment.
11 Tous mes ennemis, confondus, bouleversés, qu'ils reculent, soudain confondus!
