1 Hi sunt reges, quos percusserunt filii Israel et possederunt terram eorum trans Iordanem ad solis ortum, a torrente Arnon usque ad montem Hermon et omnem orientalem plagam Arabae.	1 The kings of the land east of the Jordan, from the River Arnon to Mount Hermon, including all the eastern section of the Arabah, whom the Israelites conquered and whose lands they occupied, were:
2 Sehon rex Amorraeorum, qui habitavit in Hesebon, dominatus est ab Aroer, quae sita est super ripam torrentis Arnon, et a media parte vallis et in dimidia parte Galaad usque ad torrentem Iaboc, qui est terminus filiorum Ammon;	2 First, Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon. His domain extended from Aroer, which is on the bank of the Wadi Arnon, to include the wadi itself, and the land northward through half of Gilead to the Wadi Jabbok,

7 Hi sunt reges terrae, quos percussit Iosue et filii Israel trans Iordanem ad occidentalem plagam, a Baalgad in campo Libani usque ad montem Calvum, qui ascendit in Seir; tradiditque eam Iosue in possessionem tribubus Israel, singulis partes suas,	7 This is a list of the kings whom Joshua and the Israelites conquered west of the Jordan and whose land, from Baal-gad in the Lebanon valley to Mount Halak which rises toward Seir, Joshua apportioned to the tribes of Israel.
