NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Cumque coeperitis terram dividere sortito, separate oblationem Dominosanctificatum de terra, longitudine viginti quinque milia et latitudine vigintimilia: sanctificatum erit in omni termino suo per circuitum;	1 ' "When you draw lots to divide the country by heritage, you must set a sacred portion of the countryaside for Yahweh: twenty-five thousand cubits long and twenty thousand wide. The whole of this land must besacred,
2 ex quosanctuarium obtinebit quingentos per quingentos, quadrifariam per circuitum, etquinquaginta cubitos pascua eius per gyrum.	2 and of this an area five hundred by five hundred cubits must be for the sanctuary, with a boundary fiftycubits wide right round.
3 Et a mensura ista mensurabislongitudinem viginti quinque milium et latitudinem decem milium, et in ipso erittemplum, Sanctum sanctorum.	3 Out of this area you must also measure a section twenty-five thousand by ten thousand cubits, inwhich wil be the sanctuary, the Holy of Holies.
4 Sanctificatum de terra erit sacerdotibus ministrissanctuarii, qui accedunt ad ministerium Domini; et erit eis locus in domos et inpascua pecoribus.	4 This will be the sacred portion of the country, belonging to the priests who officiate in the sanctuaryand approach Yahweh to serve him. It wil contain room for their houses and room for the sanctuary.

7 Principi quoque ex utraque parte oblationis sacrae et possessionis civitatis,secundum oblationem sacram et possessionem urbis, a latere maris usque ad mareet a latere orientis versus orientem, longitudinem autem iuxta unamquamquepartium, a termino occidentali usque ad terminum orientalem.	7 "The prince must have a territory either side of the sacred portion and of the property of the city,adjacent to the sacred portion and the property of the city, stretching westwards from the west and eastwardsfrom the east, its size equal to one of the portions between the west and the east frontiers
8 Haec terra eritei possessio in Israel, et non depopulabuntur ultra principes mei populum meum;sed terram dabunt domui Israel secundum tribus eorum.	8 of the country. 10 Statera iusta et ephi iustum et batus iustussit vobis;	10 Have fair scales, a fair ephah, a fair bat.
11 ephi et batus aequalia et unius mensurae sint, ut capiat decimampartem homer batus, et decimam partem homer ephi: iuxta mensuram homer sit aequalibratio eorum.	11 Let the ephah and bat be equal, let the bat hold one-tenth of a homer and the ephah one-tenth of ahomer. Let the measures be based on the homer.
12 Siclus autem viginti gera habeat; quinque sicli sint quinque,et decem sicli sint decem, et quinquaginta sint vobis mina.	12 The shekel must be twenty gerah. Twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels and fifteen shekels mustmake one mina.
13 Haec est oblatio, quam offeratis: sextam partem ephi de gomor frumenti etsextam partem ephi de gomor hordei.	13 "This is the offering that you must levy: the sixth of an ephah for every homer of wheat, and the sixthof an ephah for every homer of barley.
14 Praeceptum quoque de oleo — batus estmensura olei C: decimam partem bati offeratis de choro — decem bati homerfaciunt, quia decem bati implent chorum C.	14 The dues on oil: one bat of oil out of every ten bat or out of every kor (which is equal to ten bat or onehomer, since ten bat equal one homer).
15 Et pecus unum de grege ducentorum,de pascuis irriguis Israel, in oblationem et in holocaustum et in pacifica adexpiandum pro eis, ait Dominus Deus.	15 You must levy one sheep on every flock of two hundred from the pastures of Israel for the oblation,the burnt offerings and the communion sacrifice. This must form your expiation -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
16 Omnis populus terrae tenebitur ad hancoblationem principi in Israel;	16 Let al the people of the country be subject to this due for the prince of Israel.

20 Et sic facies in septima mensis prounoquoque, qui ignoravit et errore deceptus est, et expiabitis pro domo.	20 You must do the same on the seventh of the month, on behalf of anyone who has sinned throughinadvertence or ignorance. This is how you must make expiation for the Temple.
21 Inprimo mense, quarta decima die mensis, erit vobis Paschae sollemnitas; septemdiebus azyma comedentur.	21 On the fourteenth day of the first month, you must celebrate the feast of the Passover. For sevendays everyone must eat unleavened loaves.
22 Et faciet princeps in die illa pro se et prouniverso populo terrae vitulum pro peccato;	22 On that day, the prince must offer a bull as a sacrifice for sin, for himself and al the people of thecountry.
23 et in septem dierum sollemnitatefaciet holocaustum Domino septem vitulos et septem arietes immaculatos cotidieseptem diebus et pro peccato hircum caprarum cotidie;	23 For the seven days of the feast, he must offer Yahweh burnt offerings of seven bul s and seven ramswithout blemish, daily for a week, and one he-goat daily as a sacrifice for sin,
