Lettera ai Galati 6

BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Fratelli, se un uomo sia stato preoccupato sgraziatamente in qualche fallo, voi, che siete spirituali, istruite questo tale in ispirito di dolcezza, e pon mente a te stesso, che tu pure non caschi in tentazione.	1 Brothers, even if one of you is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should setthat person right in a spirit of gentleness; and watch yourselves that you are not put to the test in the same way.
2 Portate gli uni i pesi degli altri, e così adempirete la legge di Cristo.	2 Carry each other's burdens; that is how to keep the law of Christ.
3 Imperocché se alcuno si tiene di essere qualche cosa, mentre non è nulla, questi seduce se stesso.	3 Someone who thinks himself important, when he is not, only deceives himself;
4 Ma ciascheduno disamini l'opera sua, e cosi sol in se stesso avrà gloria, e non presso altrui.	4 but everyone is to examine his own achievements, and then he wil confine his boasting to his ownachievements, not comparing them with anybody else's.
5 Conciossiachè ciascheduno porterà il proprio peso.	5 Each one has his own load to carry.
6 Quegli poi, che è catechizzato nella parola, faccia parte di tutto quello, che ha di bene, a chi lo catechizza.	6 When someone is under instruction in doctrine, he should give his teacher a share in al hispossessions.
7 Non ingannate voi stessi: Iddio non si schernisce.	7 Don't delude yourself: God is not to be fooled; whatever someone sows, that is what he wil reap.
8 Imperocché quello, che l'uomo avrà seminato, quello ancor mieterà: onde chi semina per la sua carne, dalla carne mieterà la corruzione: chi poi semina per lo Spirito, dallo Spirito mieterà la vita eterna.	8 If his sowing is in the field of self-indulgence, then his harvest from it wil be corruption; if his sowing is inthe Spirit, then his harvest from the Spirit wil be eternal life.
9 Non ci stanchiamo nel far del bene: Conciossiachè non istancandoci mieteremo a suo tempo.	9 And let us never slacken in doing good; for if we do not give up, we shal have our harvest in due time.
10 Per la qual cosa fino che abbiam tempo, facciam del bene a tutti, massimamente però a quegli, che per la fede sono della stessa famiglia.	10 So then, as long as we have the opportunity let al our actions be for the good of everybody, andespecial y of those who belong to the household of the faith.
11 Guardate, che lettera vi ho scritto di proprio pugno.	11 Notice what large letters I have used in writing to you with my own hand.
12 Tutti coloro, che vogliono esser graditi secondo la carne, questi vi sforzano a circoncidervi solo per non patire persecuzione per la croce di Cristo.	12 It is those who want to cut a figure by human standards who force circumcision on you, simply so thatthey will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 Imperocché neppur quegli, che sì circoncidono, osservan la legge: ma vogliono, che vi circondiate per glorificarsi sopra la vostra carne.	13 Even though they are circumcised they stil do not keep the Law themselves; they want you to becircumcised only so that they can boast of your outward appearance.
14 Ma lungi da me il gloriarmi d'altro, che della croce del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo, per cui il mondo è a me crocifisso, e io al mondo.	14 But as for me, it is out of the question that I should boast at al , except of the cross of our Lord JesusChrist, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Imperocché in Cristo Gesù non fa nulla l'essere circonciso, né l'essere incirconciso, ma la nuova creazione.	15 It is not being circumcised or uncircumcised that matters; but what matters is a new creation.
16 E quanti seguiranno questa norma, sopra di essi pace, e misericordia, e sopra Israele di Dio.	16 Peace and mercy to al who fol ow this as their rule and to the Israel of God.
17 Del rimanente nissuno mi inquieti: imperocché io porto le stimate del Signore Gesù nel mio corpo.	17 After this, let no one trouble me; I carry branded on my body the marks of Jesus.
18 La grazia del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo col vostro spirito, o fratelli. Cosi sia.	18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brothers. Amen.
