Jesaja 47

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Steig herab, Tochter Babel, Jungfrau, setz dich in den Staub! Setz dich auf die Erde; es gibt keinen Thron mehr (für dich), Tochter Chaldäas. Jetzt nennt man dich nicht mehr die Feine, die Zarte.	1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
2 Nimm die Mühle und mahle das Mehl! Weg mit dem Schleier! Heb deine Schleppe hoch, entblöße die Beine und wate durchs Wasser!	2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
3 Deine Scham wird entblößt, man sieht deine Schande. Unerbittlich nehme ich Rache,	3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.
4 spricht unser Erlöser; «Herr der Heere» heißt er und «Der Heilige Israels».	4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
5 Setz dich hin und verstumme! Geh hinaus ins Dunkel, Tochter Chaldäas! Denn nun nennt dich niemand mehr «Herrin der Reiche».	5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
6 Ich war zornig über mein Volk, ich entweihte mein Erbe und gab es in deine Gewalt. Doch du hast ihm kein Erbarmen geschenkt, du hast den Greisen ein zu schweres Joch auferlegt.	6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
7 Du dachtest: Ich bleibe für immer und ewig die Herrin. Du hast dir das alles nicht zu Herzen genommen, hast nie an das Ende gedacht.	7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
8 Nun aber höre, du üppiges Weib, die du in Sicherheit lebst und in deinem Herzen denkst:Ich und sonst niemand! Niemals sitze ich da als Witwe, Kinderlosigkeit kenne ich nicht.	8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9 Doch beides wird dich ereilen, plötzlich, am gleichen Tag: Kinderlos wirst du und Witwe, in voller Schwere trifft dich das Unheil, trotz all deiner Zauberei und trotz der Macht deiner beschwörenden Formeln.	9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
10 Du hast dich auf deine bösen Taten verlassen und gedacht: Es sieht mich ja keiner. Deine Weisheit und dein Wissen verleiteten dich, in deinem Herzen zu denken: Ich und sonst niemand!	10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
11 Doch es wird ein Unheil über dich kommen, das du nicht wegzaubern kannst. Ein Verderben wird dich überfallen, das du nicht zu bannen vermagst. Und plötzlich wird dein Untergang kommen, an den du niemals gedacht hast.	11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
12 Dann stell dich hin mit deinen beschwörenden Formeln und mit deinen vielen Zaubersprüchen, mit denen du dich seit deiner Jugend abgemüht hast. Vielleicht kannst du dir helfen, vielleicht das Unglück verscheuchen.	12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
13 Du hast dir große Mühe gemacht mit deinen vielen Beratern; sollen sie doch auftreten und dich retten, sie, die den Himmel deuten und die Sterne betrachten, die dir an jedem Neumond verkünden, was kommt.	13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
14 Wie die Spreu werden sie sein, die das Feuer verbrennt. Sie können sich nicht retten vor der Gewalt der Flammen. Das wird keine Glut sein, an der man sich wärmt, kein Feuer, um das man herumsitzt.	14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
15 So geht es all deinen Zauberern, um die du dich seit deiner Jugend bemüht hast. Sie machen sich alle davon, keiner will dir mehr helfen.	15 Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
