EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Jetzt aber höre, Jakob, mein Knecht, Israel, den ich erwählte.	1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 So spricht der Herr, dein Schöpfer, der dich im Mutterleib geformt hat, der dir hilft:Fürchte dich nicht, Jakob, mein Knecht, du, Jeschurun, den ich erwählte.	2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 Denn ich gieße Wasser auf den dürstenden Boden, rieselnde Bäche auf das trockene Land. Ich gieße meinen Geist über deine Nachkommen aus und meinen Segen über deine Kinder.	3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 Dann sprossen sie auf wie das Schilfgras, wie Weidenbäume an Wassergräben.	4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 Der eine sagt: Ich gehöre dem Herrn. Ein anderer benennt sich mit dem Namen Jakobs. Einer schreibt auf seine Hand: für den Herrn. Ein anderer wird ehrenvoll mit dem Namen Israel benannt.	5 One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
6 So spricht der Herr, Israels König, sein Erlöser, der Herr der Heere: Ich bin der Erste, ich bin der Letzte, außer mir gibt es keinen Gott.	6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7 Wer ist mir gleich? Er soll sich melden, er tue es mir kund und beweise es mir. Wer hat von Anfang an die Zukunft verkündet? Sie sollen uns sagen, was alles noch kommt.	7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8 Erschreckt nicht und fürchtet euch nicht! Habe ich es euch nicht schon längst zu Gehör gebracht und verkündet? Ihr seid meine Zeugen: Gibt es einen Gott außer mir? Es gibt keinen Fels außer mir, ich kenne keinen.	8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
9 Ein Nichts sind alle, die ein Götterbild formen; ihre geliebten Götzen nützen nichts. Wer sich zu seinen Göttern bekennt, sieht nichts, ihm fehlt es an Einsicht; darum wird er beschämt.	9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
10 Wer sich einen Gott macht und sich ein Götterbild gießt, hat keinen Nutzen davon.	10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
11 Seht her, alle, die sich ihm anschließen, werden beschämt, die Schmiede sind nichts als Menschen. Sie sollen sich alle versammeln und vor mich treten; dann werden sie alle von Schrecken gepackt und beschämt.	11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12 Der Schmied facht die Kohlenglut an, er formt (das Götterbild) mit seinem Hammer und bearbeitet es mit kräftigem Arm. Dabei wird er hungrig und hat keine Kraft mehr. Trinkt er kein Wasser, so wird er ermatten.	12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
13 Der Schnitzer misst das Holz mit der Messschnur, er entwirft das Bild mit dem Stift und schnitzt es mit seinem Messer; er umreißt es mit seinem Zirkel und formt die Gestalt eines Mannes, das prächtige Bild eines Menschen; in einem Haus soll es wohnen.	13 The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
14 Man fällt eine Zeder, wählt eine Eiche oder sonst einen mächtigen Baum, den man stärker werden ließ als die übrigen Bäume im Wald. Oder man pflanzt einen Lorbeerbaum, den der Regen groß werden lässt.	14 He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
15 Das Holz nehmen die Menschen zum Heizen; man macht ein Feuer und wärmt sich daran. Auch schürt man das Feuer und bäckt damit Brot. Oder man schnitzt daraus einen Gott und wirft sich nieder vor ihm; man macht ein Götterbild und fällt vor ihm auf die Knie.	15 Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
16 Den einen Teil des Holzes wirft man ins Feuer und röstet Fleisch in der Glut und sättigt sich an dem Braten. Oder man wärmt sich am Feuer und sagt: Oh, wie ist mir warm! Ich spüre die Glut.	16 He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
17 Aus dem Rest des Holzes aber macht man sich einen Gott, ein Götterbild, vor das man sich hinkniet, zu dem man betet und sagt: Rette mich, du bist doch mein Gott!	17 And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
18 Unwissend sind sie und ohne Verstand; denn ihre Augen sind verklebt, sie sehen nichts mehr und ihr Herz wird nicht klug.	18 They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19 Sie überlegen nichts, sie haben keine Erkenntnis und Einsicht, sodass sie sich sagen würden: Den einen Teil habe ich ins Feuer geworfen, habe Brot in der Glut gebacken und Fleisch gebraten und es gegessen. Aus dem Rest des Holzes aber habe ich mir einen abscheulichen Götzen gemacht und nun knie ich nieder vor einem Holzklotz.	19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
20 Wer Asche hütet, den hat sein Herz verführt und betrogen. Er wird sein Leben nicht retten und wird nicht sagen: Ich halte ja nur ein Trugbild in meiner rechten Hand.	20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
21 Denk daran, Jakob, und du, Israel, dass du mein Knecht bist. Ich habe dich geschaffen, du bist mein Knecht; Israel, ich vergesse dich nicht.	21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22 Ich fege deine Vergehen hinweg wie eine Wolke und deine Sünden wie Nebel. Kehr um zu mir; denn ich erlöse dich.	22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23 Jauchzt, ihr Himmel, denn der Herr hat gehandelt; jubelt, ihr Tiefen der Erde! Brecht in Jubel aus, ihr Berge, ihr Wälder mit all euren Bäumen! Denn der Herr hat Jakob erlöst und an Israel bewiesen, wie herrlich er ist.	23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
24 So spricht der Herr, dein Erlöser, der dich im Mutterleib geformt hat: Ich bin der Herr, der alles bewirkt, der ganz allein den Himmel ausgespannt hat, der die Erde gegründet hat aus eigener Kraft,	24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25 der das Wirken der Zauberer vereitelt und die Wahrsager zu Narren macht, der die Weisen zum Rückzug zwingt und ihre Klugheit als Dummheit entlarvt,	25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26 der das Wort seiner Knechte erfüllt und den Plan ausführt, den seine Boten verkünden, der zu Jerusalem sagt: Du wirst wieder bewohnt!, und zu den Städten Judas: Ihr werdet wieder aufgebaut werden, ich baue eure Ruinen wieder auf!,	26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27 der zum tiefen Meer sagt: Trockne aus, ich lasse deine Fluten versiegen!,	27 That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
28 der zu Kyrus sagt: Mein Hirt - alles, was ich will, wird er vollenden!, der zu Jerusalem sagt: Du wirst wieder aufgebaut werden!, und zum Tempel: Du wirst wieder dastehen.	28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
