JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Prière. De David. Tends l'oreille, Yahvé, réponds-moi, pauvre et malheureux que je suis;	1 [Prayer Of David] Listen to me, Yahweh, answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 garde mon âme, car je suis ton ami, sauve ton serviteur qui se fie en toi. Tu es mon Dieu,	2 Guard me, for I am faithful, save your servant who relies on you. You are my God,
3 pitié pour moi, Seigneur, c'est toi que j'appelle tout le jour;	3 take pity on me, Lord, for to you I cry al the day.
4 réjouis l'âme de ton serviteur, quand j'élève mon âme vers toi, Seigneur.	4 Fil your servant's heart with joy, Lord, for to you I raise up my heart.
5 Seigneur, tu es pardon et bonté, plein d'amour pour tous ceux qui t'appellent;	5 Lord, you are kind and forgiving, rich in faithful love for al who cal upon you.
6 Yahvé, entends ma prière, attentif à la voix de ma plainte.	6 Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to the sound of my pleading.
7 Au jour de l'angoisse, je t'appelle, car tu me réponds, Seigneur;	7 In my day of distress I cal upon you, because you answer me, Lord;
8 entre les dieux, pas un comme toi, rien qui ressemble à tes oeuvres.	8 among the gods there is none to compare with you, no great deeds to compare with yours.
9 Tous les païens viendront t'adorer, Seigneur, et rendre gloire à ton nom;	9 Al nations wil come and adore you, Lord, and give glory to your name.
10 car tu es grand et tu fais des merveilles, toi, Dieu, et toi seul.	10 For you are great and do marvel ous deeds, you, God, and none other.
11 Enseigne-moi, Yahvé, tes voies, afin que je marche en ta vérité, rassemble mon coeur pourcraindre ton nom.	11 Teach me, Yahweh, your ways, that I may not stray from your loyalty; let my heart's one aim be tofear your name.
12 Je te rends grâce de tout mon coeur, Seigneur mon Dieu, à jamais je rendrai gloire à ton nom,	12 I thank you with al my heart, Lord my God, I wil glorify your name for ever,
13 car ton amour est grand envers moi, tu as tiré mon âme du tréfonds du shéol.	13 for your faithful love for me is so great that you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.
14 O Dieu, des orgueilleux ont surgi contre moi, une bande de forcenés pourchasse mon âme, pointde place pour toi devant eux.	14 Arrogant men, God, are rising up against me, a brutal gang is after my life, in their scheme of thingsyou have no place.
15 Mais toi, Seigneur, Dieu de tendresse et de pitié, lent à la colère, plein d'amour et de vérité,	15 But you, Lord, God of tenderness and mercy, slow to anger, rich in faithful love and loyalty,
16 tourne-toi vers moi, pitié pour moi! Donne à ton serviteur ta force et ton salut au fils de taservante,	16 turn to me and pity me. Give to your servant your strength, to the child of your servant your savinghelp,
17 fais pour moi un signe de bonté. Ils verront, mes ennemis, et rougiront, car toi, Yahvé, tu m'aideset me consoles.	17 give me a sign of your kindness.
	18 My enemies wil see to their shame that you, Yahweh, help and console me.
