JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Alleluia! J'aime, lorsque Yahvé entend le cri de ma prière,	1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 lorsqu'il tend l'oreille vers moi, le jour où j'appelle.	2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 Les lacets de la mort m'enserraient, les filets du shéol; l'angoisse et l'affliction me tenaient,	3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 j'appelai le nom de Yahvé. De grâce, Yahvé, délivre mon âme!	4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Yahvé a pitié, il est juste, notre Dieu est tendresse;	5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 Yahvé protège les simples, je faiblissais, il m'a sauvé.	6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Retourne, mon âme, à ton repos, car Yahvé t'a fait du bien.	7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 Il a gardé mon âme de la mort, mes yeux des larmes et mes pieds du faux pas:	8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 je marcherai à la face de Yahvé sur la terre des vivants.	9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 Je crois lors même que je dis: "Je suis trop malheureux",	10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 moi qui ai dit dans mon trouble: "Tout homme n'est que mensonge."	11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 Comment rendrai-je à Yahvé tout le bien qu'il m'a fait?	12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 J'élèverai la coupe du salut, j'appellerai le nom de Yahvé.	13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 J'accomplirai mes voeux envers Yahvé, oui, devant tout son peuple!	14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15 Elle coûte aux yeux de Yahvé, la mort de ses amis.	15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 De grâce, Yahvé, je suis ton serviteur, je suis ton serviteur fils de ta servante, tu as défait mesliens.	16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 Je t'offrirai le sacrifice d'action de grâces, j'appellerai le nom de Yahvé.	17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 J'accomplirai mes voeux envers Yahvé, oui, devant tout son peuple,	18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19 dans les parvis de la maison de Yahvé, au milieu de toi, Jérusalem!	19 In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
