Salmos 53

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Para la enfermedad. Poema. De David.	1 [For the choirmaster In sickness Poem Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God!'They are corrupt, vile and unjust, not one of them does right.
2 Dice en su corazón el insensato: «¡No hay Dios!» Corrompidos están, de conducta abominable, no hay quien haga el bien.	2 God looks down from heaven at the children of Adam, to see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.
3 Se asoma Dios desde los cielos hacia los hijos de Adán, por ver si hay un sensato, alguien que busque a Dios.	3 Al have proved faithless, al alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.
4 Todos ellos están descarriados, en masa pervertidos. No hay quien haga el bien, ni uno siquiera.	4 Are they not aware, these evil-doers? They are devouring my people; this is the bread they eat, andthey never call upon God.
5 ¿No aprenderán todos los agentes de mal que comen a mi pueblo como se come el pan, y no invocan a Dios?	5 They wil be gripped with fear, just where there is no need for fear, for God scatters the bones of himwho besieges you; they are mocked because God rejects them.
6 Allí de espanto temblarán, donde nada hay que espante. Pues Dios dispersa los huesos de tu sitiador, se les ultraja porque Dios los rechaza.	6 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When God brings his people home, what joy for Jacob,what happiness for Israel!
7 ¿Quién traerá de Sión la salvación de Israel? ¡Cuando Dios cambie la suerte de su pueblo, exultará Jacob, se alegrará Israel!
