NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Et ostendit mihi Iesua sacer dotem magnum stantem coram angelo Domini; etSatan stabat a dextris eius, ut adversaretur ei.	1 He then showed me the high priest Joshua, standing before the angel of Yahweh, with Satan standingon his right to accuse him.
2 Et dixit angelus Domini ad Satan: “Increpet Dominus in te, Satan! Etincrepet Dominus in te, qui elegit Ierusalem! Numquid non iste torris est erutusde igne?”.	2 The angel of Yahweh said to Satan, 'May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh rebuke you, sincehe has made Jerusalem his choice. Is not this man a brand snatched from the fire?'
3 Et Iesua erat indutus vestibus sordidis et stabat ante faciemangeli.	3 Now Joshua was dressed in dirty clothes as he stood before the angel.
4 Qui respondit et ait ad eos, qui stabant coram se, dicens: “Aufertevestimenta sordida ab eo”. Et dixit ad eum: “Ecce, abstuli a te iniquitatemtuam; induam te mutatoriis”.	4 The latter then spoke as fol ows to those who were standing before him, 'Take off his dirty clothesanddress him in splendid robes
5 Et dixit: “Ponite cidarim mundam super caputeius”. Et posuerunt cidarim mundam super caput eius et induerunt eum vestibus;et angelus Domini stabat.	5 and put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head and dressed him in cleanclothes, while the angel of Yahweh stood byand said, 'You see, I have taken your guilt away.'
6 Et contestabatur angelus Domini Iesua dicens:	6 The angel of Yahweh then made this declaration to Joshua,
7 “Haec dicit Dominusexercituum: Si in viis meis ambulaveris et ministerium meum custodieris, tuquoque iudicabis domum meam et custodies atria mea; et dabo tibi accessum intereos, qui nunc hic assistunt.	7 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "If you walk in my ways and keep my ordinances, you shal govern myhouse, you shal watch over my courts, and I wil give you free access among those in attendance here.
8 Audi, Iesua sacerdos magne, tu et amici tui, qui sedent coram te, quia viriportendentes sunt: Ecce enim ego adduco servum meum Germen.	8 'So listen, High Priest Joshua, you and the colleagues over whom you preside -- for they are an omenof things to come -- for now I shal bring in my servant the Branch, and I shal remove this country's guilt in asingle day.
9 Quia ecce lapis,quem dedi coram Iesua: super lapidem unum septem oculi sunt; ecce ego caelabosculpturam eius, ait Dominus exercituum, et auferam iniquitatem terrae illius indie una.	9 For this is the stone which I have put before Joshua, a stone on which are seven eyes; and I myselfshall cut the inscription on it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares."
10 In die illa, oraculum Domini exercituum, vocabit vir amicum suumsubter vitem et subter ficum”.	10 On that day -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- invite each other to come under your vine and your figtree." '
