1 Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè e ad Aronne:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2 "Gli Israeliti si accamperanno ciascuno vicino alla sua insegna con i simboli dei casati paterni; si accamperanno di fronte a tutti intorno alla tenda del convegno.	2 All the children of Israel shall camp by their troops, ensigns, and standards, and the houses of their kindreds, round about the tabernacle of the covenant.
3 A est, verso oriente, si accamperà l'insegna del campo di Giuda con le sue schiere;	3 On the east Juda shall pitch his tents by the bands of his army: and the prince of his sons shall be Nahasson the son of Aminadab.
4 il capo dei figli di Giuda è Nacason, figlio di Amminadab, e la sua formazione è di sessantaquattromilaseicento registrati.	4 And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 Accanto a lui si accamperà la tribù di Issacar; il capo dei figli di Issacar è Netaneel, figlio di Suar,	5 Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.
6 e la sua formazione è di cinquantaquattromilaquattrocento registrati.	6 And the whole number of his fighting men were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
7 Poi la tribù di Zàbulon; il capo dei figli di Zàbulon è Eliab, figlio di Chelon,	7 In the tribe of Zabulon the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.
8 e la sua formazione è di cinquantasettemilaquattrocento registrati.	8 And all the army of fighting men of his stock, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
9 Il totale dei registrati del campo di Giuda è di centottantaseimilaquattrocento uomini, secondo le loro schiere. Si metteranno in marcia per primi.	9 All that were numbered in the camp of Juda, were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: and they by their troops shall march first.
10 A mezzogiorno starà l'insegna del campo di Ruben con le sue schiere; il capo dei figli di Ruben è Elisur, figlio di Sedeur,	10 In the camp of the sons of Ruben, on the south side, the prince shall be Elisur the son of Sedeur:
11 e la sua formazione è di quarantaseimilacinquecento registrati.	11 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 Accanto a lui si accamperà la tribù di Simeone; il capo dei figli di Simeone è Selumiel, figlio di Surisaddai,	12 Beside him camped they of the tribe of Simeon: whose prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.
13 e la sua formazione è di cinquantanovemilatrecento registrati.	13 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
14 Poi la tribù di Gad: il capo dei figli di Gad è Eliasaf, figlio di Deuel,	14 In the tribe of Gad the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel.
15 e la sua formazione è di quarantacinquemilaseicentocinquanta registrati.	15 And the whole army of his fighting men that were numbered, were fortyfive thousand six hundred and fifty.
16 Il totale del campo di Ruben è di centocinquantamilaquattrocentocinquanta uomini, registrati secondo le loro schiere. Si metteranno in marcia in seconda linea.	16 All that were reckoned up in the camp of Ruben, were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, by their troops: they shall march in the second place.
17 Poi si metterà in marcia la tenda del convegno con il campo dei leviti in mezzo agli altri campi. Seguiranno nella marcia l'ordine nel quale erano accampati, ciascuno al suo posto, con la sua insegna.	17 And the tabernacle of the testimony shall be carried by the officers of the Levites and their troops. As it shall be set up, so shall it be taken down. Every one shall march according to their places, and ranks.
18 Ad occidente starà l'insegna del campo di Efraim con le sue schiere; il capo dei figli di Efraim è Elisama, figlio di Ammiud,	18 On the west side shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose prince was Elisama, the son of Ammiud.
19 la sua formazione è di quarantamilacinquecento registrati.	19 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.
20 Accanto a lui si accamperà la tribù di Manasse; il capo dei figli di Manasse è Gamliel, figlio di Pedasur,	20 And with them the tribe of the sons of Manasses, whose prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur.
21 e la sua formazione è di trentaduemiladuecento registrati.	21 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 Poi la tribù di Beniamino; il capo dei figli di Beniamino è Abidan, figlio di Ghideoni,	22 In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon.
23 e la sua formazione è di trentacinquemilaquattrocento registrati.	23 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were reckoned up, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
24 Il totale dei registrati del campo di Efraim è di centottomilacento uomini, secondo le loro schiere. Si metteranno in marcia in terza linea.	24 All that were numbered in the camp of Ephraim, were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred by their troops: they shall march in the third place.
25 A settentrione starà l'insegna del campo di Dan con le sue schiere; il capo dei figli di Dan è Achiezer, figlio di Ammisaddai,	25 On the north side camped the sons of Dan: whose prince was Ahiezar the son of Ammisaddai.
26 e la sua formazione è di sessantaduemilasettecento registrati.	26 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
27 Accanto a lui si accamperà la tribù di Aser; il capo dei figli di Aser è Paghiel, figlio di Ocran,	27 Beside him they of the tribe of Aser pitched their tents: whose prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran.
28 e la sua formazione è di quarantunmilacinquecento registrati.	28 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
29 Poi la tribù di Nèftali; il capo dei figli di Nèftali è Achira, figlio di Enan,	29 Of the tribe of the sons of Nephtali the prince was Ahira the son of Enan.
30 e la sua formazione è di cinquantatremilaquattrocento registrati.	30 The whole army of his fighting men, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
31 Il totale dei registrati del campo di Dan è dunque centocinquantasettemilaseicento. Si metteranno in marcia per ultimi, secondo le loro insegne".	31 All that were numbered in the camp of Dan, were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred: and they shall march last.
32 Questi sono gli Israeliti registrati secondo i loro casati paterni. Tutti gli uomini dei quali si fece il censimento e che formarono i campi secondo le loro formazioni, furono seicentotremilacinquecentocinquanta.	32 This is the number of the children of Israel, of their army divided according to the houses of their kindreds and their troops, six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
33 Ma i leviti, secondo l'ordine che il Signore aveva dato a Mosè, non furono registrati nel censimento, insieme con gli Israeliti.	33 And the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel: for so the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 Gli Israeliti agirono secondo gli ordini che il Signore aveva dato a Mosè; così si accampavano secondo le loro insegne e così si mettevano in marcia, ciascuno secondo la sua famiglia e secondo il casato dei suoi padri.	34 And the children of Israel did according to all things that the Lord had commanded. They camped by their troops, and marched by the families and houses of their fathers.
