¹ Yahweh is king! Let earth rejoice, the many isles be glad!	¹ Psalmus ipsi David. Cantate Domino canticum novum, quia mirabilia fecit. Salvavit sibi dextera ejus, et brachium sanctum ejus.
² Cloud, black cloud enfolds him, saving justice and judgement the foundations of his throne.	² Notum fecit Dominus salutare suum ; in conspectu gentium revelavit justitiam suam.
³ Fire goes before him, sets ablaze his enemies al around;	³ Recordatus est misericordiæ suæ, et veritatis suæ domui Israël. Viderunt omnes termini terræ salutare Dei nostri.
⁴ his lightning-flashes light up the world, the earth sees it and quakes.	⁴ Jubilate Deo, omnis terra ; cantate, et exsultate, et psallite.
⁵ The mountains melt like wax, before the Lord of all the earth.	⁵ Psallite Domino in cithara ; in cithara et voce psalmi ;
⁶ The heavens proclaim his saving justice, all nations see his glory.	⁶ in tubis ductilibus, et voce tubæ corneæ. Jubilate in conspectu regis Domini :
⁷ Shame on all who serve images, who pride themselves on their idols; bow down to him, al you gods!	⁷ moveatur mare, et plenitudo ejus ; orbis terrarum, et qui habitant in eo.
⁸ Zion hears and is glad, the daughters of Judah exult, because of your judgements, Yahweh.	⁸ Flumina plaudent manu ; simul montes exsultabunt
⁹ For you are Yahweh, Most High over al the earth, far transcending al gods.	⁹ a conspectu Domini : quoniam venit judicare terram. Judicabit orbem terrarum in justitia, et populos in æquitate.
¹⁰ Yahweh loves those who hate evil, he keeps safe his faithful, rescues them from the clutches of thewicked.
¹¹ Light dawns for the upright, and joy for honest hearts.
¹² Rejoice in Yahweh, you who are upright, praise his unforgettable holiness.
