1 Yahweh is king! Let earth rejoice, the many isles be glad!	1 (Salmo di David). Cantate al Signore un nuovo cantico, perchè ha operato maraviglie: la sua destra e il suo santo braccio gli han dato vittoria.
2 Cloud, black cloud enfolds him, saving justice and judgement the foundations of his throne.	2 Il Signore ha fatto conoscere la salvezza che da lui procede, ha rivelata la sua giustizia agli occhi dello nazioni.
3 Fire goes before him, sets ablaze his enemies al around;	3 S'è ricordato della sua misericordia e della sua fedeltà verso la casa d'Israele. Tutte le regioni della terra han veduta la salvezza che vien dal nostro Dio.
4 his lightning-flashes light up the world, the earth sees it and quakes.	4 Cantate con giubilo a Dio da tutta la terra, prorompete in canti e suoni e salmi.
5 The mountains melt like wax, before the Lord of all the earth.	5 Cantate al Signore colla cetra, colla cetra e col salterò,
6 The heavens proclaim his saving justice, all nations see his glory.	6 Colle trombe e col suono del corno, giubilate nel cospetto del re Signore.
7 Shame on all who serve images, who pride themselves on their idols; bow down to him, al you gods!	7 Si muova il mare e ciò che lo riempie, la terra tutta e quelli che l'abitano;
8 Zion hears and is glad, the daughters of Judah exult, because of your judgements, Yahweh.	8 i fiumi battan le mani e così le montagne esultino
9 For you are Yahweh, Most High over al the earth, far transcending al gods.	9 Al cospetto del Signore, perchè viene a giudicare la terra. Giudicherà il mondo con giustizia e i popoli con equità.
10 Yahweh loves those who hate evil, he keeps safe his faithful, rescues them from the clutches of thewicked.
11 Light dawns for the upright, and joy for honest hearts.
12 Rejoice in Yahweh, you who are upright, praise his unforgettable holiness.
