1 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge, I shal never be put to shame.1 ܒܟ ܡܪܝܐ ܣܒܪܬ ܠܐ ܐܒܗܬ ܠܥܠܡ
2 In your saving justice rescue me, deliver me, listen to me and save me.2 ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܦܨܢܝ ܨܠܝ ܠܝ ܐܕܢܟ ܘܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ
3 Be a sheltering rock for me, always accessible; you have determined to save me, for you are my rock,my fortress.3 ܗܘܝ ܠܝ ܒܝܬ ܡܥܡܪܐ ܕܐܥܘܠ ܠܗ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܘܦܩܘܕ ܠܡܦܪܩܢܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܒܝܬ ܓܘܣܝ ܘܒܝܬ ܡܪܕܝ
4 My God, rescue me from the clutches of the wicked, from the grasp of the rogue and the ruthless.4 ܐܠܗܐ ܦܨܢܝ ܡܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܪܫܝܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܒܝܫܐ
5 For you are my hope, Lord, my trust, Yahweh, since boyhood.5 ܡܛܠ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܣܒܪܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܝ
6 On you I have relied since my birth, since my mother's womb you have been my portion, the constanttheme of my praise.6 ܕܥܠܝܟ ܐܣܬܡܟܬ ܡܢ ܡܪܒܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܥ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܠܟ ܫܒܚܬ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ
7 Many were bewildered at me, but you are my sure refuge.7 ܘܕܘܡܪܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܬܘܟܠܢܝ ܥܫܝܢܐ
8 My mouth is full of your praises, fil ed with your splendour all day long.8 ܢܬܡܠܐ ܦܘܡܝ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܟ ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܪܒܘܬܟ
9 Do not reject me in my old age, nor desert me when my strength is failing,9 ܠܐ ܬܫܕܝܢܝ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܣܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܡܐ ܕܓܡܪ ܚܝܠܝ ܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܢܝ
10 for my enemies are discussing me, those with designs on my life are plotting together.10 ܡܛܠ ܕܐܡܪܘ ܥܠܝ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܢܛܪܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܐܬܡܠܟܘ ܐܝܟ ܚܕܐ
11 'Hound him down, for God has deserted him! Seize him, there is no one to rescue him.'11 ܘܐܡܪܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܫܒܩܗ ܪܘܕܦܘܗܝ ܘܐܘܚܕܘܗܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܡܦܨܝܢܐ
12 God, do not stand aloof, my God, come quickly to help me.12 ܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܬܪܚܩ ܡܢܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܥܘܕܪܢܝ ܟܬܪ
13 Shame and ruin on those who slander me, may those intent on harming me be covered with insultand infamy.13 ܢܒܗܬܘܢ ܘܢܚܦܪܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܣܩܪܝܢ ܠܢܦܫܝ ܢܬܥܛܦܘܢ ܒܗܬܬܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܠܒܝܫܬܝ
14 As for me, my hope wil never fade, I wil praise you more and more.14 ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܐܨܠܐ ܘܐܘܣܦ ܥܠ ܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܟ
15 My lips shal proclaim your saving justice, your saving power all day long.15 ܦܘܡܝ ܢܣܒܪ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܘܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܒܬܫ̈ܒܚܬܟ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥܬ ܣܦܪܘܬܐ
16 I wil come in the power of Yahweh to tel of your justice, yours alone.16 ܐܥܘܠ ܒܓܢܒܪܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܥܗܕ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܒܠܚܘܕܝ
17 God, you have taught me from boyhood, and I am still proclaiming your marvels.17 ܐܠܗܐ ܝܘܠܦܢܝ ܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܝ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܫܐ ܕܐܚܘܐ ܬܕܡܪ̈ܬܟ
18 Now that I am old and grey-haired, God, do not desert me, til I have proclaimed your strength togenerations still to come, your power18 ܥܕܡܐ ܠܣܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܠܩܫܝܫܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܬܫܒܩܢܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܐܚܘܐ ܕܪܥܟ ܘܓܢܒܪܘܬܟ ܠܕܪܐ ܕܐܬܐ
19 and justice to the skies. You have done great things, God, who is like you?19 ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܐܠܗܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܪܘܡܐ ܘܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܢܘ ܐܟܘܬܟ
20 You have shown me much misery and hardship, but you will give me life again, You will raise me upagain from the depths of the earth,20 ܕܚܘܝܬܢܝ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܘܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܗܦܟܬ ܘܐܚܝܬܢܝ ܘܐܦ ܡܢ ܬܗ̈ܘܡܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܬܗܦܟ ܬܣܩܢܝ
21 prolong my old age, and comfort me again.21 ܐܣܓܝܬ ܪܒܘܬܝ ܘܗܦܟܬ ܘܒܝܐܬܢܝ
22 For my part, I will thank you on the lyre for your constancy, my God. I wil play the harp in yourhonour, Holy One of Israel.22 ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܐܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܒܟܢܪܐ ܘܠܩܘܫܬܟ ܐܙܡܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܙܡܪ ܠܟ ܒܟܢܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
23 My lips sing for joy as I play to you, because you have redeemed me,23 ܘܢܫܒ̈ܚܢ ܣ̈ܦܘܬܝ ܟܕ ܐܙܡܪ ܠܟ ܘܢܦܫܝ ܕܦܪܩܬ
24 and al day long my tongue muses on your saving justice. Shame and disgrace on those intent toharm me!24 ܘܠܫܢܝ ܟܠܗ ܝܘܡܐ ܢܘܕܐ ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܟ ܡܛܠ ܕܢܒܗܬܘܢ ܘܢܚܦܪܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܠܒܝܫܬܝ
