¹ In you, Yahweh, I take refuge, I shal never be put to shame.	¹ Yo me refugio en ti, Señor, ¡que nunca tenga que avergonzarme!
² In your saving justice rescue me, deliver me, listen to me and save me.	² Por tu justicia, líbrame y rescátame, inclina tu oído hacia mí, y sálvame.
³ Be a sheltering rock for me, always accessible; you have determined to save me, for you are my rock,my fortress.	³ Sé para mí una roca protectora, tú que decidiste venir siempre en mi ayuda, porque tú eres mi Roca y mi fortaleza.
⁴ My God, rescue me from the clutches of the wicked, from the grasp of the rogue and the ruthless.	⁴ ¡Líbrame, Dios mío, de las manos del impío, de las garras del malvado y del violento!
⁵ For you are my hope, Lord, my trust, Yahweh, since boyhood.	⁵ Porque tú, Señor, eres mi esperanza y mi seguridad desde mi juventud.
⁶ On you I have relied since my birth, since my mother's womb you have been my portion, the constanttheme of my praise.	⁶ En ti me apoyé desde las entrañas de mi madre; desde el seno materno fuiste mi protector, y mi alabanza está siempre ante ti.
⁷ Many were bewildered at me, but you are my sure refuge.	⁷ Soy un motivo de estupor para muchos, pero tú eres mi refugio poderoso.
⁸ My mouth is full of your praises, fil ed with your splendour all day long.	⁸ Mi boca proclama tu alabanza y anuncia tu gloria todo el día.
⁹ Do not reject me in my old age, nor desert me when my strength is failing,	⁹ No me rechaces en el tiempo de mi vejez, no me abandones, porque se agotan mis fuerzas;
¹⁰ for my enemies are discussing me, those with designs on my life are plotting together.	¹⁰ mis enemigos hablan contra mí, y los que me acechan se confabulan, diciendo:
¹¹ 'Hound him down, for God has deserted him! Seize him, there is no one to rescue him.'	¹¹ «Dios lo tiene abandonado: persígnalo, captúrenlo, porque no hay nadie quien lo libre».
¹² God, do not stand aloof, my God, come quickly to help me.	¹² ¡Oh Dios, no te quedes lejos de mí; Dios mío, ven pronto a socorrerme!
¹³ Shame and ruin on those who slander me, may those intent on harming me be covered with insultand infamy.	¹³ ¡Queden confundidos y humillados los que atentan contra mi vida! ¡Queden cubiertos de oprobio y de vergüenza los que buscan mi perdición!
¹⁴ As for me, my hope wil never fade, I wil praise you more and more.	¹⁴ Yo, por mi parte, seguiré esperando y te alabaré cada vez más.
¹⁵ My lips shal proclaim your saving justice, your saving power all day long.	¹⁵ Mi boca anunciará incesantemente tus actos de justicia y salvación, aunque ni siquiera soy capaz de enumerarlos.
¹⁶ I wil come in the power of Yahweh to tel of your justice, yours alone.	¹⁶ Vendré a celebrar las proezas del Señor, evocaré tu justicia, que es sólo tuya.
¹⁷ God, you have taught me from boyhood, and I am still proclaiming your marvels.	¹⁷ Dios mío, tú me enseñaste desde mi juventud, y hasta hoy he narrado tus maravillas.
¹⁸ Now that I am old and grey-haired, God, do not desert me, til I have proclaimed your strength togenerations still to come, your power	¹⁸ Ahora que estoy viejo y lleno de canas, no me abandones, Dios mío, hasta que anuncie las proezas de tu brazo a la generación que vendrá.
¹⁹ and justice to the skies. You have done great things, God, who is like you?	¹⁹ Tu justicia llega hasta el cielo, oh Dios: tú has hecho grandes cosas, y no hay nadie igual a ti, Dios mío.
²⁰ You have shown me much misery and hardship, but you will give me life again, You will raise me upagain from the depths of the earth,	²⁰ Me hiciste pasar por muchas angustias, pero de nuevo me darás la vida; me harás subir de lo profundo de la tierra,
²¹ prolong my old age, and comfort me again.	²¹ acrecentarás mi dignidad y volverás a consolarme.
²² For my part, I will thank you on the lyre for your constancy, my God. I wil play the harp in yourhonour, Holy One of Israel.	²² Entonces te daré gracias con el arpa, por tu fidelidad, Dios mío; te cantaré con la cítara, a ti, el Santo de Israel.
²³ My lips sing for joy as I play to you, because you have redeemed me,	²³ Mis labios te cantarán jubilosos, y también mi alma, que tú redimiste.
²⁴ and al day long my tongue muses on your saving justice. Shame and disgrace on those intent toharm me!	²⁴ Yo hablaré de tu justicia todo el día, porque quedarán confundidos y avergonzados los que buscan mi perdición.
