Jesaja 55

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Auf, ihr Durstigen, kommt alle zum Wasser! Auch wer kein Geld hat, soll kommen. Kauft Getreide und esst, kommt und kauft ohne Geld, kauft Wein und Milch ohne Bezahlung!	1 Oh, come to the water al you who are thirsty; though you have no money, come! Buy and eat; come,buy wine and milk without money, free!
2 Warum bezahlt ihr mit Geld, was euch nicht nährt, und mit dem Lohn eurer Mühen, was euch nicht satt macht? Hört auf mich, dann bekommt ihr das Beste zu essen und könnt euch laben an fetten Speisen.	2 Why spend money on what cannot nourish and your wages on what fails to satisfy? Listen carefully tome, and you wil have good things to eat and rich food to enjoy.
3 Neigt euer Ohr mir zu und kommt zu mir, hört, dann werdet ihr leben. Ich will einen ewigen Bund mit euch schließen gemäß der beständigen Huld, die ich David erwies.	3 Pay attention, come to me; listen, and you wil live. I shall make an everlasting covenant with you infulfilment of the favours promised to David.
4 Seht her: Ich habe ihn zum Zeugen für die Völker gemacht, zum Fürsten und Gebieter der Nationen.	4 Look, I have made him a witness to peoples, a leader and lawgiver to peoples.
5 Völker, die du nicht kennst, wirst du rufen; Völker, die dich nicht kennen, eilen zu dir,um des Herrn, deines Gottes, des Heiligen Israels willen, weil er dich herrlich gemacht hat.	5 Look, you wil summon a nation unknown to you, a nation unknown to you will hurry to you for the sakeof Yahweh your God, because the Holy One of Israel has glorified you.
6 Sucht den Herrn, solange er sich finden lässt, ruft ihn an, solange er nahe ist.	6 Seek out Yahweh while he is stil to be found, cal to him while he is still near.
7 Der Ruchlose soll seinen Weg verlassen, der Frevler seine Pläne. Er kehre um zum Herrn, damit er Erbarmen hat mit ihm, und zu unserem Gott; denn er ist groß im Verzeihen.	7 Let the wicked abandon his way and the evil one his thoughts. Let him turn back to Yahweh who willtake pity on him, to our God, for he is rich in forgiveness;
8 Meine Gedanken sind nicht eure Gedanken und eure Wege sind nicht meine Wege - Spruch des Herrn.	8 for my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways, declares Yahweh.
9 So hoch der Himmel über der Erde ist, so hoch erhaben sind meine Wege über eure Wege und meine Gedanken über eure Gedanken.	9 For the heavens are as high above earth as my ways are above your ways, my thoughts above yourthoughts.
10 Denn wie der Regen und der Schnee vom Himmel fällt und nicht dorthin zurückkehrt, sondern die Erde tränkt und sie zum Keimen und Sprossen bringt, wie er dem Sämann Samen gibt und Brot zum Essen,	10 For, as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and do not return before having watered theearth, fertilising it and making it germinate to provide seed for the sower and food to eat,
11 so ist es auch mit dem Wort, das meinen Mund verlässt: Es kehrt nicht leer zu mir zurück, sondern bewirkt, was ich will, und erreicht all das, wozu ich es ausgesandt habe.	11 so it is with the word that goes from my mouth: it wil not return to me unfulfilled or before havingcarried out my good pleasure and having achieved what it was sent to do.
12 Voll Freude werdet ihr fortziehen, wohlbehalten kehrt ihr zurück. Berge und Hügel brechen bei eurem Anblick in Jubel aus, alle Bäume auf dem Feld klatschen Beifall.	12 Yes, you wil go out with joy and be led away in safety. Mountains and hil s wil break into joyful criesbefore you and all the trees of the countryside clap their hands.
13 Statt Dornen wachsen Zypressen, statt Brennnesseln Myrten. Das geschieht zum Ruhm des Herrn als ein ewiges Zeichen, das niemals getilgt wird.	13 Cypress wil grow instead of thorns, myrtle instead of nettles. And this wil be fame for Yahweh, aneternal monument never to be effaced.
