1 Bless Yahweh, my soul, Yahweh, my God, how great you are! Clothed in majesty and splendour,	1 Celebrate il Signore e invocate il suo nome, proclamate fra ì popoli le sue gesta.
2 wearing the light as a robe! You stretch out the heavens like a tent,	2 A lui cantate, a lui salmeggiate, raccontate tutte le sue maraviglie.
3 build your palace on the waters above, making the clouds your chariot, gliding on the wings of thewind,	3 Gloriatevi nel suo santo nome; gioisca il cuore di coloro che cercano il Signore.

26 there ships pass to and fro, and Leviathan whom you made to sport with.	26 Mandò il suo servo Mosè, Aronne, scelto da lui stesso.
27 They al depend upon you, to feed them when they need it.	27 Affidò loro la parola dei suoi miracoli, i prodigi da farsi nella terra di Cam.
28 You provide the food they gather, your open hand gives them their fil .	28 Mandò le tenebre e fece buio, e non rese vane le sue parole.
29 Turn away your face and they panic; take back their breath and they die and revert to dust.	29 Cangiò in sangue le loro acque e fece perire i loro pesci.
30 Send out your breath and life begins; you renew the face of the earth.	30 La loro terra brulicò di rane nelle stesse camere dei loro re.
31 Glory to Yahweh for ever! May Yahweh find joy in his creatures!	31 Ad una sua parola apparvero i tafani e le zanzare in tutto il loro paese.
32 At his glance the earth trembles, at his touch the mountains pour forth smoke.	32 Mandò loro, invece di pioggia, la grandine e fiamme di fuoco nella loro terra,
33 I shal sing to Yahweh al my life, make music for my God as long as I live.	33 E colpì le loro vigne e i loro fichi, e fece in pezzi gli alberi delle loro contrade.
34 May my musings be pleasing to him, for Yahweh gives me joy.	34 Ad una sua parola vennero le locuste e bruchi senza numero,
35 May sinners vanish from the earth, and the wicked exist no more! Bless Yahweh, my soul.	35 E divorarono ogni verdura del loro paese e divorarono ogni frutto delle loro contrade.
	36 E colpì ogni primogenito della loro terra, le primizie d'ogni loro vigore.
	37 E fece partire il suo popolo carico d'oro e d'argento, e nelle sue tribù non c'era un malato.
	38 Si rallegrò l'Egitto per la loro partenza, perchè lo spavento d'Israele li opprimeva.
	39 Egli stese una nuvola a loro riparo e un fuoco perchè li illuminasse durante la notte.
	40 A loro richiesta fece venire le quaglie e li saziò con pane del cielo.
	41 Fendè la roccia e ne sgorgarono le acque, corsero come fiumi nel deserto.
	42 Ben ricordando la sua santa parola data ad Abramo suo servo,
	43 Condusse via il suo popolo festante, e i suoi eletti pieni di gioia,
	44 E diede loro le terre delie genti, li fece padroni delle fatiche dei popoli,
	45 Affinchè osservino i suoi comandameli ti e mettano in pratica la sua legge.
