Psalms 104

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Bless Yahweh, my soul, Yahweh, my God, how great you are! Clothed in majesty and splendour,	1 باركي يا نفسي الرب. يا رب الهي قد عظمت جدا مجدا وجلالا لبست.
2 wearing the light as a robe! You stretch out the heavens like a tent,	2 اللابس النور كثوب الباسط السموات كشقّة‎.
3 build your palace on the waters above, making the clouds your chariot, gliding on the wings of thewind,	3 ‎المسقف علاليه بالمياه الجاعل السحاب مركبته الماشي على اجنحة الريح
4 appointing the winds your messengers, flames of fire your servants.	4 الصانع ملائكته رياحا وخدامه نارا ملتهبة
5 You fixed the earth on its foundations, for ever and ever it shal not be shaken;	5 المؤسس الارض على قواعدها فلا تتزعزع الى الدهر والابد‎.
6 you covered it with the deep like a garment, the waters overtopping the mountains.	6 ‎كسوتها الغمر كثوب. فوق الجبال تقف المياه‎.
7 At your reproof the waters fled, at the voice of your thunder they sped away,	7 ‎من انتهارك تهرب من صوت رعدك تفر‎.
8 flowing over mountains, down val eys, to the place you had fixed for them;	8 ‎تصعد الى الجبال. تنزل الى البقاع الى الموضع الذي اسسته لها.
9 you made a limit they were not to cross, they were not to return and cover the earth.	9 وضعت لها تخما لا تتعداه. لا ترجع لتغطي الارض
10 In the ravines you opened up springs, running down between the mountains,	10 المفجر عيونا في الاودية. بين الجبال تجري‎.
11 supplying water for al the wild beasts; the wild asses quench their thirst,	11 ‎تسقي كل حيوان البر. تكسر الفراء ظمأها‎.
12 on their banks the birds of the air make their nests, they sing among the leaves.	12 ‎فوقها طيور السماء تسكن. من بين الاغصان تسمع صوتا‎.
13 From your high hal s you water the mountains, satisfying the earth with the fruit of your works:	13 ‎الساقي الجبال من علاليه. من ثمر اعمالك تشبع الارض‎.
14 for cattle you make the grass grow, and for people the plants they need, to bring forth food from theearth,	14 ‎المنبت عشبا للبهائم وخضرة لخدمة الانسان لاخراج خبز من الارض
15 and wine to cheer people's hearts, oil to make their faces glow, food to make them sturdy of heart.	15 وخمر تفرح قلب الانسان لإلماع وجهه اكثر من الزيت وخبز يسند قلب الانسان‎.
16 The trees of Yahweh drink their fill, the cedars of Lebanon which he sowed;	16 ‎تشبع اشجار الرب ارز لبنان الذي نصبه‎.
17 there the birds build their nests, on the highest branches the stork makes its home;	17 ‎حيث تعشش هناك العصافير اما اللقلق فالسرو بيته‎.
18 for the wild goats there are the mountains, in the crags the coneys find refuge.	18 ‎الجبال العالية للوعول الصخور ملجأ للوبار
19 He made the moon to mark the seasons, the sun knows when to set.	19 صنع القمر للمواقيت الشمس تعرف مغربها‎.
20 You bring on darkness, and night fal s, when al the forest beasts roam around;	20 ‎تجعل ظلمة فيصير ليل. فيه يدبّ كل حيوان الوعر‎.
21 young lions roar for their prey, asking God for their food.	21 ‎الاشبال تزمجر لتخطف ولتلتمس من الله طعامها‎.
22 The sun rises and away they steal, back to their lairs to lie down,	22 ‎تشرق الشمس فتجتمع وفي مآويها تربض‎.
23 and man goes out to work, to labour til evening falls.	23 ‎الانسان يخرج الى عمله والى شغله الى المساء‏
24 How countless are your works, Yahweh, al of them made so wisely! The earth is ful of yourcreatures.	24 ما اعظم اعمالك يا رب. كلها بحكمة صنعت. ملآنة الارض من غناك.
25 Then there is the sea, with its vast expanses teeming with countless creatures, creatures both greatand smal ;	25 هذا البحر الكبير الواسع الاطراف. هناك دبابات بلا عدد. صغار حيوان مع كبار‎.
26 there ships pass to and fro, and Leviathan whom you made to sport with.	26 ‎هناك تجري السفن. لوياثان هذا خلقته ليلعب فيه‎.
27 They al depend upon you, to feed them when they need it.	27 ‎كلها اياك تترجى لترزقها قوتها في حينه‎.
28 You provide the food they gather, your open hand gives them their fil .	28 ‎تعطيها فتلتقط. تفتح يدك فتشبع خيرا‎.
29 Turn away your face and they panic; take back their breath and they die and revert to dust.	29 ‎تحجب وجهك فترتاع. تنزع ارواحها فتموت والى ترابها تعود‎.
30 Send out your breath and life begins; you renew the face of the earth.	30 ‎ترسل روحك فتخلق. وتجدد وجه الارض
31 Glory to Yahweh for ever! May Yahweh find joy in his creatures!	31 يكون مجد الرب الى الدهر. يفرح الرب باعماله‎.
32 At his glance the earth trembles, at his touch the mountains pour forth smoke.	32 ‎الناظر الى الارض فترتعد. يمسّ الجبال فتدخن‎.
33 I shal sing to Yahweh al my life, make music for my God as long as I live.	33 ‎اغني للرب في حياتي. ارنم لالهي ما دمت موجودا‎.
34 May my musings be pleasing to him, for Yahweh gives me joy.	34 ‎فيلذ له نشيدي وانا افرح بالرب‎.
35 May sinners vanish from the earth, and the wicked exist no more! Bless Yahweh, my soul.	35 ‎لتبد الخطاة من الارض والاشرار لا يكونوا بعد. باركي يا نفسي الرب. هللويا
