¹ Why do the nations protest and the peoples grumble in vain?	¹ ¿Por qué se amotinan las naciones, \| y los pueblos planean un fracaso?
² Kings on earth rise up and princes plot together against the LORD and his anointed:	² Se alían los reyes de la tierra, \| los príncipes conspiran \| contra el Señor y contra su Mesías:
³ "Let us break their shackles and cast off their chains!"	³ «Rompamos sus coyundas, \| sacudamos su yugo».
⁴ The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord derides them,	⁴ El que habita en el cielo sonríe, \| el Señor se burla de ellos.
⁵ Then speaks to them in anger, terrifies them in wrath:	⁵ Luego les habla con ira, \| los espanta con su cólera:
⁶ "I myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain."	⁶ «Yo mismo he establecido a mi Rey \| en Sión, mi monte santo».
⁷ I will proclaim the decree of the LORD, who said to me, "You are my son; today I am your father.	⁷ Voy a proclamar el decreto del Señor; \| él me ha dicho: «Tú eres mi hijo: \| yo te he engendrado hoy.
⁸ Only ask it of me, and I will make your inheritance the nations, your possession the ends of the earth.	⁸ Pídemelo: \| te daré en herencia las naciones; \| en posesión, los confines de la tierra:
⁹ With an iron rod you shall shepherd them, like a clay pot you will shatter them."	⁹ los gobernarás con cetro de hierro, \| los quebrarás como jarro de loza».
¹⁰ And now, kings, give heed; take warning, rulers on earth.	¹⁰ Y ahora, reyes, sed sensatos; \| escarmentad, los que regís la tierra:
¹¹ Serve the LORD with fear; with trembling bow down in homage, Lest God be angry and you perish from the way in a sudden blaze of anger. Happy are all who take refuge in God!	¹¹ servid al Señor con temor,
	¹² rendidle homenaje temblando; \| aprended la enseñanza, \| no sea que se irrite y vayáis a la ruina, \| porque se inflama de pronto su ira. \| ¡Dichosos los que se refugian en él!
