Jesaja 62

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Um Zions willen kann ich nicht schweigen, um Jerusalems willen nicht still sein, bis das Recht in ihm aufstrahlt wie ein helles Licht und sein Heil aufleuchtet wie eine brennende Fackel.	1 For Sion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for the sake of Jerusalem, I will not rest till her just one come forth as brightness, and her saviour be lighted as a lamp.
2 Dann sehen die Völker deine Gerechtigkeit und alle Könige deine strahlende Pracht.Man ruft dich mit einem neuen Namen, den der Mund des Herrn für dich bestimmt.	2 And the Gentiles shall see thy just one, and all kings thy glorious one: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Du wirst zu einer prächtigen Krone in der Hand des Herrn, zu einem königlichen Diadem in der Rechten deines Gottes.	3 And thou shalt be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Nicht länger nennt man dich «Die Verlassene» und dein Land nicht mehr «Das Ödland»,sondern man nennt dich «Meine Wonne» und dein Land «Die Vermählte». Denn der Herr hat an dir seine Freude und dein Land wird mit ihm vermählt.	4 Thou shalt no more be called Forsaken: and thy land shall no more be called Desolate: but thou shalt be called My pleasure in her, and thy land inhabited. Because the Lord hath been well pleased with thee: and thy land shall be inhabited.
5 Wie der junge Mann sich mit der Jungfrau vermählt, so vermählt sich mit dir dein Erbauer.Wie der Bräutigam sich freut über die Braut, so freut sich dein Gott über dich.	5 For the young man shall dwell with the virgin, and thy children shall dwell in thee. And the bridegroom shall rejoice over the bride, and thy God shall rejoice over thee.
6 Auf deine Mauern, Jerusalem, stellte ich Wächter. Weder bei Tag noch bei Nacht dürfen sie schweigen. Ihr, die ihr den Herrn (an Zion) erinnern sollt, gönnt euch keine Ruhe!	6 Upon thy wails, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen all the day, and all the night, they shall never hold their peace. You that are mindful of the Lord, hold not your peace,
7 Lasst auch ihm keine Ruhe, bis er Jerusalem wieder aufbaut, bis er es auf der ganzen Erde berühmt macht.	7 And give him no silence till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 Der Herr hat geschworen bei seiner rechten Hand und bei seinem starken Arm: Nie mehr gebe ich dein Korn deinen Feinden zu essen. Nie mehr trinken Fremde deinen Wein, für den du so hart gearbeitet hast.	8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thy enemies: and the sons of the strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured.
9 Nein, wer das Korn geerntet hat, soll es auch essen und den Herrn dafür preisen. Wer den Wein geerntet hat, soll ihn auch trinken in den Vorhöfen meines Heiligtums.	9 For they that gather it, shall eat it, and shall praise the Lord: and they that bring it together, shall drink it in my holy courts.
10 Zieht durch die Tore ein und aus und bahnt dem Volk einen Weg! Baut, ja baut eine Straße und räumt die Steine beiseite! Stellt ein Zeichen auf für die Völker!	10 Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people, make the road plain, pick out the stones, and lift up the standard to the people.
11 Hört, was der Herr bis ans Ende der Erde bekannt macht: Sagt der Tochter Zion: Sieh her, jetzt kommt deine Rettung. Siehe, er bringt seinen Siegespreis mit: Alle, die er gewonnen hat, gehen vor ihm her.	11 Behold the Lord hath made it to be heard in the ends of the earth, tell the daughter of Sion: Behold thy Saviour cometh: behold his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 Dann nennt man sie «Das heilige Volk», «Die Erlösten des Herrn». Und dich nennt man «Die begehrte, die nicht mehr verlassene Stadt».	12 And they shall call them, The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord. But thou shalt be called: A city sought after, and not forsaken.
