Livre des Psaumes 16

JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 A mi-voix. De David. Garde-moi, ô Dieu, mon refuge est en toi.	1 [In a quiet voice Of David] Protect me, O God, in you is my refuge.
2 J'ai dit à Yahvé: C'est toi mon Seigneur, mon bonheur n'est en aucun	2 To Yahweh I say, 'You are my Lord, my happiness is in none
3 de ces démons de la terre. Ceux-là en imposent à tous ceux qui les aiment,	3 of the sacred spirits of the earth.' They only take advantage of al who love them.
4 leurs idoles foisonnent, on court à leur suite. Verser leurs libations de sang? Jamais! Faire monterleurs noms sur mes lèvres? Jamais!	4 People flock to their teeming idols. Never shal I pour libations to them! Never take their names on mylips.
5 Yahvé, ma part d'héritage et ma coupe, c'est toi qui garantis mon lot;	5 My birthright, my cup is Yahweh; you, you alone, hold my lot secure.
6 le cordeau me marque un enclos de délices, et l'héritage est pour moi magnifique.	6 The measuring-line marks out for me a delightful place, my birthright is al I could wish.
7 Je bénis Yahvé qui s'est fait mon conseil, et même la nuit, mon coeur m'instruit.	7 I bless Yahweh who is my counsel or, even at night my heart instructs me.
8 J'ai mis Yahvé devant moi sans relâche; puisqu'il est à ma droite, je ne bronche pas.	8 I keep Yahweh before me always, for with him at my right hand, nothing can shake me.
9 Aussi, mon coeur exulte, mes entrailles jubilent, et ma chair reposera en sûreté;	9 So my heart rejoices, my soul delights, my body too wil rest secure,
10 car tu ne peux abandonner mon âme au shéol, tu ne peux laisser ton ami voir la fosse.	10 for you wil not abandon me to Sheol, you cannot al ow your faithful servant to see the abyss.
11 Tu m'apprendras le chemin de vie, devant ta face, plénitude de joie, en ta droite, délices éternelles.	11 You wil teach me the path of life, unbounded joy in your presence, at your right hand delight for ever.
