1 Os exhorto, pues, hermanos, por la misericordia de Dios, que ofrezcáis vuestros cuerpos como una víctima viva, santa, agradable a Dios: tal será vuestro culto espiritual.	1 And so, I beg you, brothers, by the mercy of God, that you offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, with the subservience of your mind.
2 Y no os acomodéis al mundo presente, antes bien transformaos mediante la renovación de vuestra mente, de forma que podáis distinguir cuál es la voluntad de Dios: lo bueno, lo agradable, lo perfecto.	2 And do not choose to be conformed to this age, but instead choose to be reformed in the newness of your mind, so that you may demonstrate what is the will of God: what is good, and what is well-pleasing, and what is perfect.
3 En virtud de la gracia que me fue dada, os digo a todos y a cada uno de vosotros: No os estiméis en más de lo que conviene; tened más bien una sobria estima según la medida de la fe que otorgó Dios a cada cual.	3 For I say, through the grace that has been given to me, to all who are among you: Taste no more than it is necessary to taste, but taste unto sobriety and just as God has distributed a share of the faith to each one.
4 Pues, así como nuestro cuerpo, en su unidad, posee muchos miembros, y no desempeñan todos los miembros la misma función,	4 For just as, within one body, we have many parts, though all the parts do not have the same role,
5 así también nosotros, siendo muchos, no formamos más que un solo cuerpo en Cristo, siendo cada uno por su parte los unos miembros de los otros.	5 so also we, being many, are one body in Christ, and each one is a part, the one of the other.
6 Pero teniendo dones diferentes, según la gracia que nos ha sido dada, si es el don de profecía, ejerzámoslo en la medida de nuestra fe;	6 And we each have different gifts, according to the grace that has been given to us: whether prophecy, in agreement with the reasonableness of faith;
7 si es el ministerio, en el ministerio; la enseñanza, enseñando;	7 or ministry, in ministering; or he who teaches, in doctrine;
8 la exhortación, exhortando. El que da, con sencillez; el que preside, con solicitud; el que ejerce la misericordia, con jovialidad.	8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, in simplicity; he who governs, in solicitude; he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.
9 Vuestra caridad sea sin fingimiento; detestando el mal, adhiriéndoos al bien;	9 Let love be without falseness: hating evil, clinging to what is good,
10 amándoos cordialmente los unos a los otros; estimando en más cada uno a los otros;	10 loving one another with fraternal charity, surpassing one another in honor:
11 con un celo sin negligencia; con esp1ritu fervoroso; sirviendo al Señor;	11 in solicitude, not lazy; in spirit, fervent; serving the Lord;
12 con la alegría de la esperanza; constantes en la tribulación; perseverantes en la oración;	12 in hope, rejoicing; in tribulation, enduring; in prayer, ever-willing;
13 compartiendo las necesitades de los santos; practicando la hospitalidad.	13 in the difficulties of the saints, sharing; in hospitality, attentive.
14 Bendecid a los que os persiguen, no maldigáis.	14 Bless those who are persecuting you: bless, and do not curse.
15 Alegraos con los que se alegran; llorad con los que lloran.	15 Rejoice with those who are rejoicing. Weep with those who are weeping.
16 Tened un mismo sentir los unos para con los otros; sin complaceros en la altivez; atraídos más bien por lo humilde; no os complazcáis en vuestra propia sabiduria.	16 Be of the same mind toward one another: not savoring what is exalted, but consenting in humility. Do not choose to seem wise to yourself.
17 Sin devolver a nadie mal por mal; procurando el bien ante todos los hobres:	17 Render to no one harm for harm. Provide good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.
18 en lo posible, y en cuanto de vosotros dependa, en paz con todos los hombres;	18 If it is possible, in so far as you are able, be at peace with all men.
19 no tomando la justicia por cuenta vuestra, queridos míos, dejad lugar a la Cólera, pues dice la Escritura: Mía es la venganza: yo daré el pago merecido, dice el Señor.	19 Do not defend yourselves, dearest ones. Instead, step aside from wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is mine. I shall give retribution, says the Lord.”
20 Antes al contrario: si tu enemigo tiene hambre, dale de comer; y si tiene sed, dale de beber; haciéndolo así, amontonarás ascuas sobre su cabeza.	20 So if an enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in doing so, you will heap burning coals upon his head.
21 No te dejes vencer por el mal; antes bien, vence al mal con el bien.	21 Do not allow evil to prevail, instead prevail over evil by means of goodness.
