1 Yahveh habló así a Moisés:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 «El día primero del primer mes alzarás la Morada de la Tienda del Encuentro.	2 “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,
3 Allí pondrás el arca del Testimonio y cubrirás el arca con el velo.	3 and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.
4 Llevarás la mesa y colocarás lo que hay que ordenar sobre ella; llevarás también el candelabro y pondrás encima las lámparas.	4 And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,
5 Colocarás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del arca del Testimonio y colgarás la cortina a la entrada de la Morada.	5 and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,
6 Colocarás el altar de los holocaustos ante la entrada de la Morada de la Tienda del Encuentro.	6 and before it, the altar of holocaust.
7 Pondrás la pila entre la Tienda del Encuentro y el altar, y echarás agua en ella.	7 The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.
8 En derredor levantarás el atrio y tenderás el tapiz a la entrada del atrio.	8 And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.
9 Entonces tomarás el óleo de la unción y ungirás la Morada y todo lo que contiene. La consagrarás con todo su mobiliario y será cosa sagrada.	9 And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.
10 Ungirás además el altar de los holocaustos con todos sus utensilios. Consagrarás el altar, y el altar será cosa sacratísima.	10 The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,
11 Asimismo ungirás la pila y su base, y la consagrarás.	11 the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.
12 Después mandarás que Aarón y sus hijos se acerquen a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro y los lavarás con agua.	12 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,
13 Vestirás a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas, le ungirás, y le consagrarás para que ejerza mi sacerdocio.	13 you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”
14 Mandarás también que se acerquen sus hijos; los vestirás con túnicas,	14 And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.
15 los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre, para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio. Así se hará para que su unción les confiera un sacerdocio sempiterno de generación en generación.»	15 Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.
16 Moisés hizo todo conforme a lo que Yahveh le había mandado. Así lo hizo.	16 And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,
17 En el primer mes del año segundo, el día primero del mes, fue alzada la Morada.	17 and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.
18 Moisés alzó la Morada, asentó las basas, colocó sus tableros, metió sus travesaños y erigió sus postes.	18 And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.
19 Después desplegó la Tienda por encima de la Morada y puso además por encima el toldo de la Tienda, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	19 And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.
20 Luego tomó el Testimonio y lo puso en el arca; puso al arca los varales y sobre ella colocó el propiciatorio en la parte superior.	20 And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,
21 Llevó entonces el arca a la Morada, colgó el velo de protección y cubrió así el arca del Testimonio, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	21 arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
22 Colocó también la mesa en la Tienda del Encuentro, al lado septentrional de la Morada, fuera del velo.	22 And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,
23 Dispuso sobre ella las filas de los panes de la Presencia delante de Yahveh, como Yahveh había ordenado a Moisés.	23 setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.
24 Luego instaló el candelabro en la Tienda del Encuentro, frente a la mesa, en el lado meridional de la Morada,	24 He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,
25 y colocó encima las lámparas delante de Yahveh, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	25 and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Asimismo puso el altar de oro en la Tienda del Encuentro, delante del velo;	26 And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,
27 y quemó sobre él incienso aromático como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	27 and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.
28 A la entrada de la Morada colocó la cortina,	28 Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.
29 y en la misma entrada de la Morada de la Tienda del Encuentro colocó también el altar de los holocaustos, sobre el cual ofreció el holocausto y la oblación, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	29 And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,
30 Situó la pila entre la Tienda del Encuentro y el altar, y echó en ella agua para las abluciones;	30 whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
31 Moisés, Aarón y sus hijos se lavaron en ella las manos y los pies.	31 And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,
32 Siempre que entraban en la Tienda del Encuentro y siempre que se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés.	32 the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.
33 Por fin alzó el atrio que rodeaba la Morada y el altar, y colgó el tapiz a la entrada del atrio. Así acabó Moisés los trabajos.	33 Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.
34 La Nube cubrió entonces la Tienda del Encuentro y la gloria de Yahveh llenó la Morada.	34 Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.
35 Moisés no podía entrar en la Tienda del Encuentro, pues la Nube moraba sobre ella y la gloria de Yahveh llenaba la Morada.	35 But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.
36 En todas las marchas, cuando la Nube se elevaba de encima de la Morada, los israelitas levantaban el campamento.	36 Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.
37 Pero si la Nube no se elevaba, ellos no levantaban el campamento, en espera del día en que se elevara.
38 Porque durante el día la Nube de Yahveh estaba sobre la Morada y durante la noche había fuego a la vista de toda la casa de Israel. Así sucedía en todas sus marchas.
