1 Final y, brothers, pray for us that the Lord's message may spread quickly, and be received with honouras it was among you;	1 ועוד אחי התפללו בעדנו אשר ירוץ דבר יהוה ויכבד כמו גם בקרבכם
2 and pray that we may be preserved from bigoted and evil people, for not everyone has faith.	2 ואשר ננצל מן האנשים התעים והרעים כי לא לכל אדם האמונה
3 You can rely on the Lord, who wil give you strength and guard you from the evil One,	3 אבל נאמן הוא האדון אשר יחזק אתכם וישמרכם מן הרע
4 and we, in the Lord, have every confidence in you, that you are doing and wil go on doing al that wetel you.	4 ואנחנו בטוחים עליכם באדנינו כי תעשו וגם תוסיפו לעשות את אשר נצוה
5 May the Lord turn your hearts towards the love of God and the perseverance of Christ.	5 והאדון הוא יישר את לבבכם לאהבת האלהים ולסבלנות המשיח
6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we urge you, brothers, to keep away from any of the brothers wholives an undisciplined life, not in accordance with the tradition you received from us.	6 והננו מצוים אתכם אחים בשם אדנינו ישוע המשיח אשר תבדלו מכל אח מעקש דרכיו ואיננו מתהלך על פי הקבלה אשר קבל מאתנו
7 You know how you should take us as your model: we were not undisciplined when we were with you,	7 הלא ידעתם אף אתם איך עליכם להתהלך כמנו כי לא נהגנו דרך מעות בתוככם
8 nor did we ever accept food from anyone without paying for it; no, we worked with unsparing energy,night and day, so as not to be a burden on any of you.	8 גם לא אכלנו לחם איש חנם כי ביגיעה ותלאה לילה ויומם היינו עמלים לבלתי היות לאיש מכם למשא
9 This was not because we had no right to be, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to imitate.	9 לא בעבור שאין לנו הרשות לזאת כי אם לתת אתנו לכם למופת ללכת בעקבותינו
10 We urged you when we were with you not to let anyone eat who refused to work.	10 כי גם בהיותנו אצלכם צוינו אתכם לאמר מי שלא ירצה לעבד גם אכול לא יאכל
11 Now we hear that there are some of you who are living lives without any discipline, doing no workthemselves but interfering with other people's.	11 כי שמענו שיש בכם אנשים המעקשים את דרכיהם ואינם עבדים מאומה ומבלים ימיהם בהבלים
12 In the Lord Jesus Christ, we urge and cal on people of this kind to go on quietly working and earningthe food that they eat.	12 ואנשים כאלה נצוה אותם ונבקש מהם באדנינו ישוע המשיח לעבד בנחת למען יאכלו את לחמם
13 My brothers, never slacken in doing what is right.	13 ואתם אחי אל תלאו בעשות הטוב
14 If anyone refuses to obey what I have written in this letter, take note of him and have nothing to dowith him, so that he wil be ashamed of himself,	14 ואם לא ישמע איש אל דברנו באגרת הזאת אתו תרשמו לכם ואל תתערבו עמו למען יבוש
15 though you are not to treat him as an enemy, but to correct him as a brother.	15 אך לא כאיב תחשבהו כי אם תוכיחהו כאח
16 May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at al times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.	16 והוא אדון השלום הוא יתן לכם את השלום תמיד ובכל פנים
