Proverbs 7

1 My child, keep my words, and treasure my precepts,	1 Сын мой! храни слова мои и заповеди мои сокрой у себя.
2 keep my precepts and you wil live, keep my teaching as the apple of your eye.	2 Храни заповеди мои и живи, и учение мое, как зрачок глаз твоих.
3 Bind these to your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.	3 Навяжи их на персты твои, напиши их на скрижали сердца твоего.
4 Say to Wisdom, 'You are my sister!' Cal Understanding your relation,	4 Скажи мудрости: 'Ты сестра моя!' и разум назови родным твоим,
5 to save yourself from the woman that belongs to another, from the stranger, with her seductive words.	5 чтобы они охраняли тебя от жены другого, от чужой, которая умягчает слова свои.
6 While I was at the window of my house, I was looking out through the lattice	6 Вот, однажды смотрел я в окно дома моего, сквозь решетку мою,
7 and I saw, among the cal ow youths, I noticed among the lads, one boy who had no sense.	7 и увидел среди неопытных, заметил между молодыми людьми неразумного юношу,
8 Going along the lane, near the corner where she lives, he reaches the path to her house,	8 переходившего площадь близ угла ее и шедшего по дороге к дому ее,
9 at twilight when day is declining, at dead of night and in the dark.	9 в сумерки в вечер дня, в ночной темноте и во мраке.
10 And look, a woman is coming to meet him, dressed like a prostitute, false of heart.	10 И вот--навстречу к нему женщина, в наряде блудницы, с коварным сердцем,
11 She is loud and brazen; her feet cannot rest at home.	11 шумливая и необузданная; ноги ее не живут в доме ее:
12 Once in the street, once in the square, she lurks at every corner.	12 то на улице, то на площадях, и у каждого угла строит она ковы.
13 She catches hold of him, she kisses him, the bold-faced creature says to him,	13 Она схватила его, целовала его, и с бесстыдным лицом говорила ему:
14 'I had to offer a communion sacrifice, I have discharged my vows today;	14 'мирная жертва у меня: сегодня я совершила обеты мои;
15 that is why I came out to meet you, to look for you, and now I have found you.	15 поэтому и вышла навстречу тебе, чтобы отыскать тебя, и--нашла тебя;
16 I have spread coverlets over my divan, embroidered stuff, Egyptian material,	16 коврами я убрала постель мою, разноцветными тканями Египетскими;
17 I have sprinkled my bed with myrrh, with aloes and cinnamon.	17 спальню мою надушила смирною, алоем и корицею;
18 Come on, we'l make love as much as we like, till morning. Let us enjoy the delights of love!	18 зайди, будем упиваться нежностями до утра, насладимся любовью,
19 For my husband is not at home, he has gone on a very long journey,	19 потому что мужа нет дома: он отправился в дальнюю дорогу;
20 taking his moneybags with him; he wil not be back til the moon is ful .'	20 кошелек серебра взял с собою; придет домой ко дню полнолуния'.
21 With her persistent coaxing she overcomes him, lures him on with her wheedling patter.	21 Множеством ласковых слов она увлекла его, мягкостью уст своих овладела им.
22 Forthwith he fol ows her, like an ox on its way to the slaughterhouse, like a madman on his way to thestocks,	22 Тотчас он пошел за нею, как вол идет на убой, и как олень--на выстрел,
23 until an arrow pierces him to the liver, like the bird that dashes into the net without realising that its lifeis at stake.	23 доколе стрела не пронзит печени его; как птичка кидается в силки, и не знает, что они--на погибель ее.
24 And now, son, listen to me, pay attention to the words I have to say:	24 Итак, дети, слушайте меня и внимайте словам уст моих.
25 do not let your heart stray into her ways, or wander into her paths;	25 Да не уклоняется сердце твое на пути ее, не блуждай по стезям ее,
26 she has done so many to death, and the strongest have al been her victims.	26 потому что многих повергла она ранеными, и много сильных убиты ею:
27 Her house is the way to Sheol, the descent to the courts of death.	27 дом ее--пути в преисподнюю, нисходящие во внутренние жилища смерти.
