NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 [Of Solomon] God, endow the king with your own fair judgement, the son of the king with your ownsaving justice,	1 Соломона. Боже, твій розсуд дай цареві, синові царя твою справедливість.
2 that he may rule your people with justice, and your poor with fair judgement.	2 Хай судить твій народ по праву, бідних твоїх — по правді.
3 Mountains and hil s, bring peace to the people! With justice	3 Хай гори принесуть народові мир, і горби — справедливість.
4 he wil judge the poor of the people, he wil save the children of the needy and crush their oppressors.	4 Нехай розсудить бідних з народу, спасе дітей убогих, гнобителя ж розтопче.
5 In the sight of the sun and the moon he wil endure, age after age.	5 Тебе боятимуться, поки сонця і поки місяця, від роду й до роду.
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass, like showers moistening the land.	6 Хай він, як дощ, зійде на покоси, як злива, що зрошує землю.
7 In his days uprightness shal flourish, and peace in plenty till the moon is no more.	7 За його днів квітнутиме справедливість, а мир глибокий — аж доки місяця.
8 His empire shal stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth.	8 Він буде правити від моря аж до моря, і від Ріки аж до кінців землі.
9 The Beast wil cower before him, his enemies lick the dust;	9 Перед ним схиляться його противники, а вороги його лизатимуть порох.
10 the kings of Tarshish and the islands wil pay him tribute. The kings of Sheba and Saba wil offer gifts;	10 Царі Таршішу й островів принесуть дари, царі Шеви й Севи дадуть гостинці.
11 all kings will do him homage, al nations become his servants.	11 Йому поклоняться всі царі, усі народи йому служитимуть.
12 For he rescues the needy who cal s to him, and the poor who has no one to help.	12 Він бо спасе вбогого, що кличе, і бідного, і того, що допомоги не має.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the needy from death.	13 Над бідним він змилується і над нужденним, і урятує душі бідних.
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their lives, their blood is precious in his sight.	14 Він викупить їхні душі від гніту й насилля, і дорога буде їхня кров в очах у нього.
15 (Long may he live; may the gold of Sheba be given him!) Prayer wil be offered for him constantly,and blessings invoked on him al day.	15 Нехай живе, й дадуть йому золота з Шеви, і будуть молитися за нього завжди і по всі дні його благословити.
16 May wheat abound in the land, waving on the heights of the hills, like Lebanon with its fruits andflowers at their best, like the grasses of the earth.	16 На землі буде збіжжя удосталь; на верховинах гір шумітиме, неначе Ливан, колос, і зацвітуть, як на землі трава, по містах люди.
17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shal be blessed everyrace in the world, and all nations call him blessed.	17 Ім’я його буде повік благословенне; аж поки сонця, ім’я його буде; в ньому благословляться усі земні народи, прославлятимуть його усі народи.
18 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders;	18 Благословен Господь, Бог Ізраїля, що творить чудеса — єдиний.
19 blessed for ever his glorious name. May the whole world be fil ed with his glory! Amen! Amen!	19 І благословенне його славне ім’я повіки, слава його нехай наповнить усю землю! Нехай так буде! Нехай так буде!
