Psalms 72

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 [Of Solomon] God, endow the king with your own fair judgement, the son of the king with your ownsaving justice,	1 لسليمان‎. ‎اللهم اعطي احكامك للملك وبرك لابن الملك‎.
2 that he may rule your people with justice, and your poor with fair judgement.	2 ‎يدين شعبك بالعدل ومساكينك بالحق‎.
3 Mountains and hil s, bring peace to the people! With justice	3 ‎تحمل الجبال سلاما للشعب والاكام بالبر‎.
4 he wil judge the poor of the people, he wil save the children of the needy and crush their oppressors.	4 ‎يقضي لمساكين الشعب. يخلّص بني البائسين ويسحق الظالم‎.
5 In the sight of the sun and the moon he wil endure, age after age.	5 ‎يخشونك ما دامت الشمس وقدام القمر الى دور فدور‎.
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass, like showers moistening the land.	6 ‎ينزل مثل المطر على الجزاز ومثل الغيوث الذارفة على الارض‎.
7 In his days uprightness shal flourish, and peace in plenty till the moon is no more.	7 ‎يشرق في ايامه الصدّيق وكثرة السلام الى ان يضمحل القمر‎.
8 His empire shal stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth.	8 ‎ويملك من البحر الى البحر ومن النهر الى اقاصي الارض
9 The Beast wil cower before him, his enemies lick the dust;	9 امامه تجثو اهل البرية واعداؤه يلحسون التراب‎.
10 the kings of Tarshish and the islands wil pay him tribute. The kings of Sheba and Saba wil offer gifts;	10 ‎ملوك ترشيش والجزائر يرسلون تقدمة. ملوك شبا وسبإ يقدمون هدية‎.
11 all kings will do him homage, al nations become his servants.	11 ‎ويسجد له كل الملوك. كل الامم تتعبد له‎.
12 For he rescues the needy who cal s to him, and the poor who has no one to help.	12 ‎لانه ينجي الفقير المستغيث والمسكين اذ لا معين له‎.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the needy from death.	13 ‎يشفق على المسكين والبائس ويخلص انفس الفقراء‎.
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their lives, their blood is precious in his sight.	14 ‎من الظلم والخطف يفدي انفسهم ويكرم دمهم في عينيه‎.
15 (Long may he live; may the gold of Sheba be given him!) Prayer wil be offered for him constantly,and blessings invoked on him al day.	15 ‎ويعيش ويعطيه من ذهب شبا. ويصلّي لاجله دائما . اليوم كله يباركه
16 May wheat abound in the land, waving on the heights of the hills, like Lebanon with its fruits andflowers at their best, like the grasses of the earth.	16 تكون حفنة بر في الارض في رؤوس الجبال. تتمايل مثل لبنان ثمرتها ويزهرون من المدينة مثل عشب الارض‎.
17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shal be blessed everyrace in the world, and all nations call him blessed.	17 ‎يكون اسمه الى الدهر. قدام الشمس يمتد اسمه. ويتباركون به‎. ‎كل امم الارض يطوّبونه‎.
18 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders;	18 ‎مبارك الرب الله اله اسرائيل الصانع العجائب وحده‎.
19 blessed for ever his glorious name. May the whole world be fil ed with his glory! Amen! Amen!	19 ‎ومبارك اسم مجده الى الدهر ولتمتلئ الارض كلها من مجده. آمين ثم آمين
