NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Of Solomon] God, endow the king with your own fair judgement, the son of the king with your ownsaving justice,	1 De Salomón. Oh Dios, concede tu justicia al rey y tu rectitud al descendiente de reyes,
2 that he may rule your people with justice, and your poor with fair judgement.	2 para que gobierne a tu pueblo con justicia y a tus pobres con rectitud.
3 Mountains and hil s, bring peace to the people! With justice	3 Que las montañas traigan al pueblo la paz, y las colinas, la justicia;
4 he wil judge the poor of the people, he wil save the children of the needy and crush their oppressors.	4 que él defienda a los humildes del pueblo, socorra a los hijos de los pobres y aplaste al opresor.
5 In the sight of the sun and the moon he wil endure, age after age.	5 Que dure tanto como el sol y la luna, a lo largo de las generaciones;
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass, like showers moistening the land.	6 que sea como lluvia que cae sobre el césped y como chaparrones que riegan la tierra.
7 In his days uprightness shal flourish, and peace in plenty till the moon is no more.	7 Que en sus días florezca la justicia y abunde la paz, mientras dure la luna;
8 His empire shal stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth.	8 que domine de un mar hasta el otro, y desde el Río hasta los confines de la tierra.
9 The Beast wil cower before him, his enemies lick the dust;	9 Que se inclinen ante él las tribus del desierto, y sus enemigos muerdan el polvo;
10 the kings of Tarshish and the islands wil pay him tribute. The kings of Sheba and Saba wil offer gifts;	10 que los reyes de Tarsis y de las costas lejanas le paguen tributo. Que los reyes de Arabia y de Sebá le traigan regalos;
11 all kings will do him homage, al nations become his servants.	11 que todos los reyes le rindan homenaje y lo sirvan todas las naciones.
12 For he rescues the needy who cal s to him, and the poor who has no one to help.	12 Porque él librará al pobre que suplica y al humilde que está desamparado.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the needy from death.	13 Tendrá compasión del débil y del pobre, y salvará la vida de los indigentes.
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their lives, their blood is precious in his sight.	14 Los rescatará de la opresión y la violencia, y la sangre de ellos será preciosa ante sus ojos.
15 (Long may he live; may the gold of Sheba be given him!) Prayer wil be offered for him constantly,and blessings invoked on him al day.	15 Por eso, que viva largamente y le regalen oro de Arabia; que oren por él sin cesar y lo bendigan todo el día.
16 May wheat abound in the land, waving on the heights of the hills, like Lebanon with its fruits andflowers at their best, like the grasses of the earth.	16 Que en el país abunden los trigales y ondeen sobre las cumbres de las montañas; que sus frutos broten como el Líbano y florezcan como la hierba de los campos.
17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shal be blessed everyrace in the world, and all nations call him blessed.	17 Que perdure su nombre para siempre y su linaje permanezca como el sol; que él sea la bendición de todos los pueblos y todas las naciones lo proclamen feliz.
18 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders;	18 Bendito sea el Señor, Dios de Israel, el único que hace maravillas.
19 blessed for ever his glorious name. May the whole world be fil ed with his glory! Amen! Amen!	19 Sea bendito eternamente su Nombre glorioso y que su gloria llene toda la tierra. ¡Amén! ¡Amén!
