1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, to whom sons were born after the flood.	1 Estos son los descendientes de los hijos de Noé, Sem, Cam y Jafet, nacidos después del diluvio.
2 The descendants of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.	2 Hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yaván, Tubal, Mesec y Tirás.
3 The descendants of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.	3 Hijos de Gomer: Asquenat, Rifat y Togarma.
4 The descendants of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, and the Rodanim.	4 Hijos de Yaván: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitín y Dodanín.
5 These are the descendants of Japheth, and from them sprang the maritime nations, in their respective lands--each with its own language--by their clans within their nations.	5 De estos se ramificaron los pueblos de la costa por países, cada uno con su lengua, por familias y naciones.
6 The descendants of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.	6 Hijos de Cam: Cus, Misráin, Put y Canaán.
7 The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The descendants of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.	7 Hijos de Cus: Seba, Javila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca. Hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.
8 Cush became the father of Nimrod, who was the first potentate on earth.	8 Cus engendró a Nimrod, el primer héroe de la tierra.
9 He was a mighty hunter by the grace of the LORD; hence the saying, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter by the grace of the LORD."	9 Fue un heroico cazador ante el Señor. Por eso se dice: «Heroico cazador ante el Señor, como Nimrod».
10 The chief cities of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.	10 Las capitales de su reino fueron Babel, Erec, Acad y Calne, en la tierra de Senaar.
11 From that land he went forth to Asshur, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, and Calah,	11 De este país salió para Asur y construyó Nínive, Rejobotir, Calaj
12 as well as Resen, between Nineveh and Calah, the latter being the principal city.	12 y Resen, entre Nínive y Calaj: es la gran ciudad.
13 Mizraim became the father of the Ludim, the Anamim, the Lehabim, the Naphtuhim,	13 Misráin engendró a los lidios, anamitas, leabitas, naftujitas,
14 the Pathrusim, the Casluhim, and the Caphtorim from whom the Philistines sprang.	14 patrusitas, calusitas y caftoritas, de los que proceden los filisteos.
15 Canaan became the father of Sidon, his first-born, and of Heth;	15 Canaán engendró a Sidón, su primogénito, y a Jet,
16 also of the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,	16 y a los jebuseos, amorreos, guirgaseos,
17 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,	17 heveos, arquitas y sinitas,
18 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward, the clans of the Canaanites spread out,	18 arvaditas, samaritas y jamatitas. Después se dispersaron las familias cananeas.
19 so that the Canaanite borders extended from Sidon all the way to Gerar, near Gaza, and all the way to Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, near Lasha.	19 La frontera de los cananeos se extendía desde Sidón, en dirección a Guerar, hasta Gaza; y en dirección a Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá y Seboín, hasta Lesa.
20 These are the descendants of Ham, according to their clans and languages, by their lands and nations.	20 Estos son los hijos de Cam, por familias y lenguas, por territorios y naciones.
21 To Shem also, Japheth's oldest brother and the ancestor of all the children of Eber, sons were born.	21 Sem, hermano mayor de Jafet y antepasado de todos los hijos de Eber, también engendró hijos.
22 The descendants of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram.	22 Hijos de Sem: Elán, Asur, Arfacsad, Lud y Arán.
23 The descendants of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.	23 Hijos de Arán: Uz, Jul, Gueter y Mas.
24 Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.	24 Arfacsad engendró a Selaj y Selaj engendró a Eber.
25 To Eber two sons were born: the name of the first was Peleg, for in his time the world was divided; and the name of his brother was Joktan.	25 Eber engendró dos hijos: uno se llamó Peleg, porque en su tiempo se dividió la tierra, y su hermano se llamó Yoctán.
26 Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,	26 Yoctán engendró a Almodad, Selef, Jasarmavet, Yeraj,
27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,	27 Adorán, Uzal, Diclá,
28 Obal, Abimael, Sheba,	28 Obal, Abimael, Seba,
29 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were descendants of Joktan.	29 Ofir, Javila y Yobab. Todos estos fueron hijos de Yoctán.
30 Their settlements extended all the way to Sephar, the eastern hill country.	30 Su territorio se extendía desde Mesa hasta Sefar, la montaña oriental.
31 These are the descendants of Shem, according to their clans and languages by their lands and nations.	31 Esos son los descendientes de Sem, por familias, lenguas, territorios y naciones.
32 These are the groupings of Noah's sons, according to their origins and by their nations. From these the other nations of the earth branched out after the flood.	32 Estas son las familias de los hijos de Noé, por genealogías y naciones. De ellas se ramificaron las naciones de la tierra después del diluvio.
